Opinion Round 1: Teams and In Game Discussions

Nothing in those teams to make me change anything in my squad. Menadue remains at M8 and I won't be bringing in Ellis or Phillips.

C Ellis played both NAB1 and NAB2, but was missing for NAB3. Below are the INs & OUTs from their NAB3 squad:

OUT: Moore (Emg), Broad, Conca (Inj), Deledio (Inj), Lennon, Grigg (Inj), Chol

IN: Miles, C Ellis, Lloyd, Morris, Griffiths

Other Emg for this game: Hunt, Chaplin

Other notables: Maric, Bachelor, Yarran

You would imagine in the short term, there's still at least to come into that Richmond side (Maric, Deledio & Grigg).

Looking at that team, I think Menadue & C Ellis are at best 20-22 players and likely to be the first ones cut if they don't perform.

Yeah, that's a good point. Picking the rookies somehow doesn't seem any easier though.

I dont want to speak on behalf of those that have already joined the Western Derby league, but there are a number of spots left and I would prefer the league be filled with SCS members rather than randoms....so if you have any league spots free, please jump in...

Yeah, on field for me. If he doesn't score 70+ against the blues in a side without Grigg/Deledio/Conca, he probably never will

Some, uh, early late mail today, with Richmond star Brett Deledio - not named among the Tigers 25 - seen going through what looked to be a fitness test at Punt Rd this morning in front of club fitness staff.

While it seems very unlikely the midfield gun would get the shock call-up tonight, it's an interesting time for a test with Richmond still eight days away from their round two fixture.

Some, uh, early late mail today, with Richmond star Brett Deledio - not named among the Tigers 25 - seen going through what looked to be a fitness test at Punt Rd this morning in front of club fitness staff.

While it seems very unlikely the midfield gun would get the shock call-up tonight, it's an interesting time for a test with Richmond still eight days away from their round two fixture.

I think they'd be happy to pay whatever the fine is if he was able to play. He was out with "tightness in his quads" so it would certainly be an interesting risk to take with him this early in the year!
