As Rowsus has pointed out a few times, it's the handball to kick ratio that gets him. Last night's a great example of why the odds are stacked against him being a good pick. He played phenomenally, and had a big impact on the game, and had 27 possessions (17 contested), and 10 clearances, and he kicked a goal! Still only scored 106. 19 handballs is why.
It's very Priddis-esque. Looking at Priddis' stats last season he never had more kicks than handballs and only drew once with 17-17 in round 18. Priddis will often get 30+ touches and have 5+ tackles which can boost his score that extra 10-20 points.

Asked this a few times yesterday but it got lost in the opening carnage, do we find out final line-ups for tomorrow/sunday later today?
they will be revealed today however the gee vs hawks match will be revealed on sat. hence if you have any players from both teams that are on extended bench i would think twice about it.

I didn't manage to watch the game last night, only followed the scores on my phone like a true Supercoacher. Does anyone know what kind of role Houli seemed to play?

Same role as last year off half back but he just didn't play particularly well.

Not me. I'll bank 80 from a rookie every day of the week.
Agreed you'd take 80 from a rookie any day of the week but it does come at the cost of fielding a zero within the initial team. If that was planned great or if you are bullish about Petracca or someone getting picked very soon then great. But changing your structure to catch an 80, I don't think I'd do that.

Agreed

Very tough to pick the right rookies on field R1. I don't bother to loophole R1 because I don't want to get caught up in thoughts about starting zeroes to catch an 80 or similar. If you get a 70 instead so what?

It's the prospect of the 30s not the 70s that keeps me up at night.

How did everyone access Sam Kerridge's game and will he live up to the hype that has been bantered around , does anyone have any thoughts as to whether Hartly will play soon or is there a player i can replace/swap him with , also looking for a M/D to replace Hibberd that is playing of course as i want to keep the link to backs.
Daniel Currie is he injured or just not named...........thx.
How many coaches have everyone playing in their teams , including bench players ???????

Kerridge was reasonable at getting the ball and was in the square for many centre bounces. If he keeps getting that midfield time it will be too hard for him not to at least average 70. He isn't a great kick (had a terrible shot and had the match sealing turnover) but he is a fairly obvious F5/6 cashcow.

Kerridge gives me great confidence to go only 2 fwd premiums in the forward line (did also strong consider 1).
Wells and Kerridge seem like they'll average keeper numbers, so essentially I only have two more spots to upgrade for a solid forward line.

Apologies if this has been mentioned (I did a thread search and was surprised not to see much talk of it) but...

Dusty seemed be playing ENTIRELY forward tonight. Does anyone know how many centre bounces he attended? I certainly didn't see many. I thought he would have been running through the mids a bit at least - but alas this did not seem the case. Lambert/Macintosh/Cotchin seemed to be instead.

I'm not going to be sideswapping premiums, and although I loved watching Dusty get near the ball, I am concerned about his purely FWD role this year from a ceiling potential.

Is anyone else?

No idea but Deledio out wouldn't help.
