Await your reply Zimmer ,solve my questions and it's worth a couple of coldies.......lol , that's how desperate it's getting .
I have taken out Collins and put in Dea and moved Brown to bench with Hartley ,so the ones not playing are Hartley (D), Hibberd (M) , Cox (R) and Grimley (F)
Your simplest fix, if you're happy keeping Hibberd as an FD, is to move him to DEF in place of Hartley, fill that MID spot with Hewett and replace Grimley with McGovern or Papley. You lose your link between DEF and MID for now, but you can get that back when you're upgrading.

Forget about replacing Cox. There's no one.

If it were my team, I'd be finding $120k to do the same moves but with B. Kennedy and W. Milera instead of Hewett and Papley/McGovern. I'd probably do that by downgrading Shaw, but others would do it differently.

Hi Adrenaline ,
IMO i would take :

Defence : Take team B
Mids : Take team A
Ruck : Take as is A B & C as is
Forwards: Take team A B & C as is

Your R/F look like your happy with as they are in all 3 teams and don't know how much cash you have left to change anyone in either line , hope that helps a little , good luck with it.

So far removed Cox and replaced with Grimley , Changed Cox to McGovern and does anyone knows his JS ?? , so only have Hartley and Hibberd not playing , does anyone know of a M/D playing that could replace Hibberd and that would just leave Hartly , essendon people willl he play soon ???

Reckon I need to free up some cash to fit in rookies and have some space for corrections. Where/who do I downgrade, if anyone? Obviously Ruggles needs upgrading - he's just holding his the position. Am I trying too hard to fit all the expensive rookies in? Thanks for any feedback.

D: Laird, Simpson, Bartel, Longeran, Brown, Adams (AMT, Ruggles)
M:Fyfe, Danger, Pendles, Ablett, Rockliff, Mills, Oliver, Menadue, (Gresham, Hewett, Davis)
R:Goldy, Gawn (Wyatt)
F:Martin, Barlow, Hall, Wells, Bennedy, Kerridge (McCarthy, Uber)
Hi zimer are teams are quite similar, but have uber in def with Hartley was thinking of downgrading Pendles to Sidebottom and Hartley to Dea. Or should I just hold and hope Hartley gets games?

Would appreciate any feedback

Still time to upgrade Petracca to Hewett (but loosing Menadue emergency points)
and Papley to Uber

I wouldn't trade Pendles to Sidebottom, or Hartley to Dea.

So out of those options I'd say stick with Hartley, but I'm also trying to find better option. Very difficult this year.

How much cash do you have Zimmer?

You already have Mills, Oliver, Menadue and Kennedy. Which other expensive rookies were you looking at bringing in?

Only real option isvto downgrade in Mids or Rucks.

is this team too midpriced? I originally had Fyfe and Libba in the midfield but have gone off Libba and am pretty bullish on both Wines and Shiel this season. But with a few midpriced or risky selections in the forwards and backs I feel like it might be a bit too much.

Def: Laird Bartel Rich Lonergan Dea Tippa - Brown Adams

Mid: Pendles Ablett Danger Rockliffe Shiel Wines Mills Gresham - Hewitt Dunkley Davis

Ruck - Nic Nat Martin - Grimley

Forward: Barlow Gray Hall Wells Menadue Kerridge - Mcarthey Papley

I think your team is more mid-priced than I would ideally like, although to answer your question - no, I don't think it's too mid-priced. I've definitely seen teams with more mid-pricers, and some very good coaches are using a similar structure and some similar selections. So it's probably very viable, just not my preference :)

One thing I would say is that I'd be very surprised if Rich outscores Libba by 15ppg, yet that's what their pricing currently reflects. Shiel/Wines to Libba, and Rich to proper premium, would be a significant improvement in my view.

Hi Zimmer - options I can see to raise cash would include:

- Least favourite of the big five to Libba/Crouch type.
- Maybe Oliver to Petracca.
- Hall to rookie (eg Milera). I would have said Dusty, but he's locked in, and Barlow and Wells are locks in my view. You're running deeper than many up forward as a result of all of this, though - so Hall may be less needed given that, and the depth of the forward rookies.
- Laird to Smith (I have both, but prefer Smith).

You could also move Uber back for Ruggles (severing the D-F link for now) and bring in another forward rookie.

Hi Darkie, thanks for the reply. I think your right and that is definitely the safer option. The questions I'm asking myself are 1. Is Libba worth it if he only averages 90 and 2. Which defender to chose? The only one I'm really confident on is Shaw and he's just so overpriced. But the team definitely looks more balanced that way.

IMO It's that extra forward premium restricting you but Dusty is now locked in.

You also don't have Shaw.

I think you have to start Hall. So to me that leaves Laird. I'd suggest Laird/Ruggles for low $400k/Dea

DEF: Shaw, Houli, Laird, Johannisen, Weitering, Dea (Adams, McDonald-Tipungwuti)
MID: Fyfe, Ablett, Priddis, Rockliff, Wells, Mills, Parish, Kerridge (Hewett, Davis, Gresham)
RUC: Goldstein, Gawn (Grimley)
FWD: Martin, Barlow, Hall, Simpkin, Kennedy, Menadue (McCarthy, Brown)

Only got $10k left over so any thoughts on this final team would be good!

My final side barring late changes.

DEF- Boyd, Bartel, Lonergan, Weitering, Dea, Brown (Adams, Uber)
MID- Fyfe, Dangerfield, Ablett, Pendlebury, Rockliff, Libba, Mills, Oliver (Menadue, Gresham, Davis)
RUCK- Goldstein, Gawn (Goetz)
FWD- Barlow, S Gray, Hall, Wells, B Kennedy, Kerridge (Tippa, McCarthy)

Originally had Currie and Hartley over Dea and Goetz. Love Uber's loophole capabilities and if I've missed a cheapie/fallen gun (Dunkley, Hewett, Parish, Papley, B Crouch) it allows me to use a sideways trade without the risk of getting rid of a guy with a negative breakeven.
Heath Shaw and Dustin Martin will hopefully be my first upgrades.
