So similar to a lot of other teams.
Not sure to upgrade McCarthy to Oliver via a swap with Menadue to the forwards.
Lonergan could also be changed to a Sheridan/JJ - just don't know if it's worth it.

Yeah there wouldn't be many that's for sure. Maybe if North start playing Boomer off a back flank

The appeal with Boyd for me was that he's an accumulator and will have that odd 40 possie game whereas other players like say a Rance for example gets half his points from contested marks or marks from opposition kicks. The age factor is a concern though.

Yeah. I know it was a small factor and we shouldn't look to deeply into NABs, but he really was no where to be seen in the first half that NAB. Evidently, had a big second half to make up for it, but is it a sign for the future that he'll take a back seat and let JJ do all the accumulating instead? I don't want to find out for $560k tbh.

Have finally settled on my team and the last thing I did was read KLo's post on mid-price madness - out went both Libba & Crouch - too much risk. I am happy with the on field 22 - Emergencies still subject to team selection.

Happy with my links, like that the midfield is deep (I want to get to Fyfe with a one up one down via Hall + mills or oliver - petracca). Backline is probably my initial weakness where I will need to spend cash.

Quick questions,
-Why C. Ellis? Just because he's named in the guts for tonight? Milera is a better option in my opinion.
-I count 4 mid-pricer risks. Sheridan, Lonergan, Crouch and Libba. What do you do if 2 of them fail?
-Thought about removing Petracca (using him as a downgrade option), and moving one of you DPP backline links to the forward line? You seems to be missing Adams as a backline rookie.

I have enough risk elsewhere in my team, so I've elected to go safe with the Top ranked defender and ruck.

I think that was the way to go. Maybe Grimley to Currie if you don't find a need for the leftover coin? Assuming Currie gets named that is.

Not sure about Wright tbh but i'm assuming you've done your research on him. Do you have any cash left? if you're going Dea, i'd probably prefer Weitering in there as well (or instead of).

I've gone heavy in the mids and if Keays doesn't play I will use him onfield to assess Oliver's score.

Gone with Goetz as ruck as best donut option IMO. Grimley to start at F8 so that I have ruck coverage with a trade without having to worry about the price increase of cover.

Gone light in the forward line with a smorgasbord of rookies on offer.
