Hey Siwel

DEF: Looks pretty thin. Personally don't like Shaw at his price but can see why you picked him. I'd consider upgrading a rookie to a Lonergan/Sheridan type otherwise you might be faced with a defensive donut very early on.

MID: Like it a lot, no issues here.

RUCK: Can't go wrong picking the top 2 rucks from last year, love Martin as a pick think he and Goldy will both be around the 115 mark this year

FOR: 2-1-5 setup in forward line seems a popular one this year, Martin and Barlow should both be top end keepers.

Overall a pretty solid team, I'd just look at strengthening your defence with the cash you have remaining in the bank.

Hey DMCC10

DEF: Like the Yeo pick, got him myself, although probably one too many midpricers in this line with Yeo only being a speculative keeper.

MID: Strong midfield, Mills looks like a must have rookie though

RUCK: I've had the Goldstein/Gawn combo all preseason but downgraded for better team balance, both should be top 5 rucks though

FOR: Little thin but can get away with it given the amount of forward rookies on offer this season

Overall a solid team I'd just find a way to get Mills in

300 bucks left

Not sure about Gov, Currie, Uber
Could upgrade Gov, downgrade Currie to donut capt loop, Uber to playing rook.

Hey Juzzo

DEF: Risky defence but I do like all those picks, especially Boyd

MID: Unsure about Ah Chee but you obviously like him as a pick so don't let me sway you, other than that solid

RUCK/ Goldy/Gawn good combo and Currie a lock for r3 if named

FOR: Nice premos but you might be able to find some cheaper playing rookies than Menzel and Milera. I'd swap Ueber to defence and use Petracca as a loophole in Mid/Fwd til he gets games and use Ueber down back

Nice side, somewhat similar to mine mate.
A few things, a mate I go to uni with is mates with Dunkley, and apparently Dunkley himself isn't confident in getting a game round 1, so unless he is a donut for you, maybe have a backup plan.
No things glare out at me and suggest that they need changing, I don't mind the 2 premo FWD line + Wells and rookies. If anything, I'd maybe say use a bit of the coin to go Wines to Priddis, but I'm sure you have your reasons for going with Wines.

As I said earlier, nice side.

Firstly, I think your FWD line is fine, if anything, I'm probably more concern having to field 3 rookies in your DEF.

  • The thing that grab my attention straight off the bat was that your M8-M11 is no guaranteed of selections for round 1, so you need to address that area first.
  • The Wyatt/Cox seems a bit odd as both are unlikely to get game time, maybe consider Grimley if you want a playing R3/F8.
  • Remaining cash could be used to sure up your MID rookies or strengthen your DEF line.

DEF: Like the Lonergan pick. Trying to get him in myself. Harwood is an expensive 'rookie' price, I assume you're using him as a stepping stone? Not sure if he's worth the trade.
I don't like the Yeo pick - his consistency isn't there. Would rather Hurn, especially with his end of year last season, and solid NAB hitout. But plenty of people are sold on Yeo, so time will tell.
MID: Solid. Can't fault it. Missing Mills though?
RUCK: Love Currie as the emergency ruck. I think Currie will make some decent dough.
FWD: Going for the 2-1-5 forward line, pretty popular at the moment. If you think you'll get better use out of a Libba/Crouch versus another forward premium then all for it. Personally I've gone cold on Libba, and Crouch hasn't played any AFL footy yet.

Looks like you've allocated all your risk in your backline. 2 solid premiums, then 3 mid-price risks. How will you proceed if 2/3 fail?

I like the Joey pick if you can find wiggle room.
No Goldy enables another premo forward which I keep contemplating but have decided to go with Goldy and 2 prem forwards and Wells.
Have you a plan to trade in Goldy?

Would really appreciate your thoughts on my near-final draft.

Defence:Laird,Bartel,Hurn,Sheridan,Weitering,Dea ( Hartley,Collins)
Midfield: Pendles, Ablett, Selwood, Rockliff, Wines , B. Crouch, Mills, Oliver ( Gresham, Gore, Hewett)
Ruck: Goldstein, Gawn ( Goetz)
Forwards:Barlow , Gray, Hall, Wells, B. Kennedy, Menadue (Kerridge, Mcdonald-t)

General thoughts is that i went for those are undervalued or have potential. Goldstein is an exception asi believe will remain best ruckman.

Great looking team but I think (like most) you'll have trouble with that mid bench. If it were mine I'd move Menadue (or BKennedy) to the mid bench in place of Gore, put Kerridge on the field and put McCarthy on the FWD bench.

Hi everyone please give me your thoughts or suggestions

Def: Shaw, Bartel, Smith, Lonergan, Hartley, Broad, Brown , Adams
Mid: Danger, Pendles, Ablett, Fyfe, Rockliff, De Goey, Mills, Kerridge Gresham, Hibberd, Davis
Ruck: Goldy, Martin, Cox
Fwd: Martin , Barlow, Moore , Wells, Menadue, Mccarthy, Grimley, AMT

Have only a small amount left in kitty
Thinking of De Goey to Oliver ?? and Moore to Hall ?? but in two minds as i think De Goey and Moore will do really well , better than Oliver and Hall can't say
Think De Goey is a better option at this STAGE than Libba hope i'm not wrong
Contrary to belief i think Smith will do better than all suggest , all reports are that he wants to put last season behind him and get back to his form from the previous season and has been working heaps on his ball disposal skills over the summer
Let me have it and your thoughts as well ,appreciate it.
