***Please note***

I've changed the thread title and have sticky the thread as I feel this will get a lot of visits through the course of the season.

Rather than have individual round threads, you can make your request for player heatmap here for the whole of the SC 2016 season. That way, you can easily and readily go back and look at previous heatmap for certain players of interest.

Hmmm. That is very interesting Hewett one.
I did not see much of game on weekend but assumed he would be playing more towards the guts but that heat map shows he was up forward mostly. Given Papley is purely a forward that is very interesting two rookies in same part of ground and a second year player Heeney also.
When McGlynn is available Papley would want to keep his form and get goals on the board as my gut feel is Hewett has a bit more job security due to being developed at the club longer. Brandon Jack and James Rose also would be looking for a spot there and also Dan Robinson is a bit of a high half forward type. Think Heeney probably keeps him out for that role.

Agree, looks different to how I expect (also didn't see game). Also, thanks to Aleceee.

Fantasy freako also stated JPK attended game high 24 centre clearances. Spent only 8pct of his time fwd and 76pct in mids. Hard to explain his poor score unless the match ups were different for the swans and he played a negating role at the bounce.

Re Papley, just note in Longmire interview yesterday he stated all three rookies will play this week and that McGlynn who was very good in NEAFL would be in the mix for a recall. Maybe Papley not the player at risk based on that (wish I could find the interview transcript).

Re Heatmaps , when requesting it would be helpful to SCS member if everyone can put forward the reason to look at the heat map, so we can share insights.

Thread Update

Firstly, thanks to Jay, THCLT, and all other mods for keeping this thread and for stickying(?) it. I will continue to try and reply to as many of these as I can, but it would be nice to get one or two others to start posting the heatmaps. If you have access to them and you see a request that hasn't been answered, post the heatmap.

I will edit the OP with this information, but from now on can you please post the following info when requesting a heatmap. As the season goes on, you might want to request a season heatmap.

Player:
Heatmap type(Season or Match):
Reason for request(might start some more discussion, thanks GrainFedBeef for this idea):

Thanks to everyone at SCS, hope everyone has a good year of SuperCoach!

I'll happily help you out, can you pm me instructions on how to access the heat maps?

Edit : Thanks for explaining, but I don't have a Premium AFL Live Pass!

I'll post it here so others can see. Sorry if I didn't make this clear, but you need an AFL live pass on your phone/tablet. If you have an AFL live pass, you go to match centre, press on the game you want to see heatmaps from, and then press on 'Coach' in the top right corner. You will then be able to see player heatmaps from there. Turn your device horizontally once you are on the heatmap of the player requested, and from there you get the screen of what I post. Take a screenshot of that, and then post on here.

I have added a Players Index in the OP for ease of searching.

Please check this first to see if your request has already been posted so we don't duplicate.

I see they all been named in squad for Sunday against my Blues.
Papley and Hewett surely a lock for round two though.
Horse is a coach that makes you nervous with Swans players though for SC.
I had Laidler the first year at Swans. Picked him as a cash cow. Scored about 90 odd in round one and then got dropped.
That sucked, I was not going to put up with that crap so made a trade to KK for round two.
From memory Laidler did come back later on a few rounds later but was happy KK turned into a better cash cow. He did not play round one that year.

Will have to look up the heat maps of Davis and Gresham. Did not see their games on weekend so still unsure of where they spent most of their time.

Longmire in his interview this week said all 3 rookies will play. FWIW.

Come to think of it, yes, remember that being mentioned by others so
looking at this from teams announced
I/C (from) B. Jack, T. Derickx, G. Hewett, T. Papley, D. Towers, J. Rose, D. Robinson
Means three emergencies from B Jack, Derickx, Towers, Rose and Robinson.

Player: Corey Ellis
Heatmap type: Season
Reason for request: Strongly considering dropping him for a cheaper forward rookie (ie Papley) - Looking for any possible reason to keep him after his deplorable start to the season...

Thanks!
