I'm in!! Pete and I can warm some seats early. Actually, from what I can recall that didn't work out so well last year... 
Although I didn't realise a Bombers game coincided with visit so that could be an option as well...

Yes lock in the Mail Exchange, corner Bourke and Spencer Streets.
I will be there from 530pm until very late. Turn up whenever you want, if you happen to be going out for dinner feel free to come along afterwards. Obviously we will all have an eye on the footy on the TV and SC scores! I will have dinner there too. Some of us will be having a drink or two but you don't need to drink to come along!
I'm happy to exchange mobile numbers via PM in case you can't recognise us. Anyone who gave me there number Iast year I still have it so no need to send again.
It would be handy to have an idea of who is coming and approximately when, so please post or PM me. Also happy for last minute people as well. We will start a list on the first post, let me know if your happy to post your real first name !

Will have a chat to the boss on Monday and explain to him how I have a important appointment in Melbourne that can't be missed.
Hope I can get the all clear. (was so much easier when I was self employed.)
All going well, I'd also be keen to go and watch our Bombers @Philzsay and MU, then back to the pub straight after the game.
Also a great chance to wet the head for Ava Louise and see if Ben the Beast can claim back to back best on ground performances.

I was going to say 630pm onwards however I realised the Bombers Cats game I'm going to starts at 1:45 meaning it finishes around 4:15ish, meaning I will probably get to whatever pub by 5:30ish! I better drink plenty of water. So anytime from 530pm to 1am
In regards to venue The Mail Exchange, where we went to last time, is convenient although Car v Syd will playing at Etihad so will be busy before the game (and maybe after). Other possible venues could be:
- Turf Sports bar which is Queen St. - http://turfbar.com.au/
- The Imperial which is on Burke St near Parliament house. - http://www.bourkestreetimperial.com/
- Crown Casino in the Sports Bar (may be too overcrowded)
Any suggestions? With kids now I usually drink and watch sport at home or at friends place so not really an expert. Will probably default to The Mail Exchange unless there is a groundswell of opinion to go elsewhere.
