That sounds like you are coming but not drinking at all.... So I assume you are coming :)
Haha. My means of travel will be by train so if I end up coming, I will most certainly be drinking, don't you worry about that!

If we really need a change of venue, we can always have it at the Waltzing Matilda Hotel near my place.

I just left there with Jay and Rowan and it looks like it can handle a crowd of mad SC coaches and plenty of big screens to look at, cheap steak and chips too I might add! :p

I remember spending quite a deal of time in that place when I was working at the Springvale post office. It was a pretty rough place at the time.

I can picture all those posties leaning their bikes up out the front after their rounds about 3pm. Swaggering in through the salon door just dripping with adrenaline after being chased by dogs all day... daring anyone to make eye contact with them. You got what it takes Gladys? How about you, Prue? No? I didn't think so.

We haven't met before have we Mr Young, sounds like you know a bit about us posties. ( former postie) that is.

It was more about 7 o'clock after we had a few at work and then about 11 we'd roll into the nightclub there.

If I do a bit of work around the house I might even be allowed to attend this night of nights. What's the dress code for this place called the mail exchange? I could always dig out an old postie uniform, though I don't think it would fit anymore.

Cool! There is no dress code as far as I am aware. They let a footy crowd in so fairly relaxed. PC will be suited up ;) but I'll just be wearing jeans.

Surely it's time we organised a SCS tie? Something along the lines of the exclusive Marlebone CC salmon and egg. Perhaps a coordinating striped jacket for our formal gatherings.
