Your team is linked right? I'm not sure I understand why you lose a VC loophole with Option B as you have Uebergang there, are you planning to trade him out this week?
You have the scenario setup that I did consider too. I'd lock in tippa on field with DBJ & McCarthy both E and make an Ueber switch with Tippa to whichever E scores higher. I highly doubt that McCarthy would score higher than Martin so I would just stick Martin on the ground. Make the Griffin switch if he's a late out obviously. You can loop Hewett/Menadue with Davis so that's no problem.
Basically, option B makes it almost absolutely certain I can use the loophole , even if all my emergency rookies fail miserably; I can still use Uebergang in most circumstances - but with Wyatt playing in the last game of the round; I can loophole anybody into anybody, and you'd take Martin 99 times out of 100; but it also means that if McCarthy scores well, I can't swing Griffin to R3 and Wyatt to the Forward line without losing Martin's score.
After Papley to DBJ, my team will look something like this:
*=Emergency
DEF: Adams, Bartel, Yeo, Sheridan, McDonald-Tipungwuti, Brown (Hartley, Byrne-Jones*)
MID: Fyfe, Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Rockliff, Liberatore, Barlow, Lonergan (Hewett*, Davis, Dunkley)
RUC: Goldstein, Martin, (Wyatt)
FWD: Zorko, Hall, Wells, Griffin, Kerridge, Uebergang (McCarthy*, Menadue)
----
The first threshold is early Saturday; when Sydney play. If Hewett comes out with a decent score, then I can put Dunkley onfield to take it; and swing Menadue with Barlow. If not, Barlow stays.
Then on Saturday night, if Byrne-Jones scores well, I can swing Uebergang via Brown back to take his score. If he doesn't, then I can use Brown or Hartley as cover.
If both Byrne-Jones and McCarthy score well, I can swing Uebergang back, and Wyatt with Griffin.
Giving me a forward line of Zorko, Hall, Wells, Kerridge, Barlow/Menadue, Wyatt(McCarthy) - but it also means the C loophole is tied to the E loophole somewhere.
It probably won't matter; It is highly likely that I'll be able to loophole the C no matter what; but option b gives me a safety net in the worst case scenario (McCarthy, B-J, Hewett all 30's), whereas Option A allows me to take everything in the best case scenario (McCarthy, B-J, Hewett all 100's.)
