I think he sees it in the smashing Melb got last week and their requirement for change.

HAHA! Very true.

I hope he does, because I had 3 Donuts on the bench last week (Terlich, Daw and Rowe). Would be good if it gets reduced to 2, or EVEN better if it was 1!

Terlich, Crouch, Vlastuin and Leuenberger back???

That would fill plenty of gaps as I held the latter 3.

Wouldn't be trading Kommer in, his job security still not 100% and he plays fwd (even though he is listed as a mid)

I've got Vlastuin but thinking I'll trade him out for Terlich. An atricle on afl.com.au makes it sound like he isn't close to debuting anytime soon.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-04-03/no-guarantees-for-tiger-tyro

Crouch I've got but am thinking of trading him out for Krommer depending on performances this round.
When he does debut, he stays in. Its the Hardwick way. Did it with Nason and Ellis/Morris and im surprised he has chosen no to do it with Vlas. Because he's a high DP, they are being cautious, which is silly.

I expect 4 changes at Carlton:
IN: Rowe, Warnock, Bell, Laidler
OUT: Casboult, Hampson, Betts, Bootsma

Like for like except for Betts. Probably just rotate the resting midfielders in Betts position rather than have a specific replacement.

Terlich should be named, mentioned in the Heraldsun today p76. Mark Robinson suggests 4 changes with Trengove, Mcdonald, Terlich & one other coming in for Lynden Dunn who has done a hammy atm. Hoping Crouch gets a game this week based on his SANFL form, depends on how they structure, with suggestions that if he does debut, he may wear the dreaded vest...lol

Dean Terlich will debut this weekend for the Demons on Saturday night against the Bombers says coach Mark Neeld. Who has the 109k backman in their team?
Found this on Facebook. Not sure of the official source of info though.

What would really throw a cat amongst the pigeons in Supercoach world was if they all of a sudden brought Troy Menzel out of hiding and with Betts out gave hm his first game. Not expecting it but this early in season, stranger things have happened. Yarran basically played as a forward last week and Walker the creative rebounder from the backline. I wonder whether that will stay. Yarran did not quite hit the right scoreboard last week but if he is on song would be dangerous with Betts out.
But agreed essentially on resting midfielders up forward. Judd, Murphy and Gibbs taking turns down there is a good move. Malthouse is still coming to grips with how to best utilise the playing list.
For some reason despite us being all over the place at the moment with game plan and structure I still think we'll somehow beat Collingwood this week.

It will be close to be honest. With Beams and possibly Heater, it could be a chance for Carlton. However, I'm likely to tip Collingwood.

That's it. You've scared me off. Crouch even if he plays I think I'll avoid trading him into my squad for now
Colquhuon I might have to trade out also. Just not sure when and what Port will do with him. Terlich sounds safer option. Just wish I had him in last week so I would have not needed to use a trade now.

Yeah I did the same thing and put Colquhoun in instead of Terlich. Might wait until Terlich is on the bubble firstly to assess his worth and possible price increase and the ability to use Coluhoun as a FD for the next couple of weeks as Rowe will probably get a gig this week.

We beat Collingwood both times last season even when we had structure problems so not even worried about what Collingwood have in and out at this stage. I agree it should be close and probably around 90,000 crowd if it is a nice sunny day.

I think that is what subconsciously made me chose Colquhuon over him last week. As DEF/MID it just gave me an extra option what I did with him. Problem is I already have Heath and Stevenson as rookie defenders from same club so I did not think it fully through last Sunday when I made my final choice.

But, Mick Malthouse is using his own strategy. The structure from last year is completely thrown out the window. It went out with Ratten! :p

This is Malthouse now, and it's a completely different story, as seen in Round 1 v Richmond. ;)
