Currently have Martin, Wells, Merrett, Hall, Montagna and Kerridge in my fwds
Looking to complete my fwds and my team and have Kerridge as Mid/FWD cover

Zorko is the obvious one being the highest averaging player so far

Yeah I'd also have to say Zorko. I don't own him and he is my number 1 upgrade target right now

Laird V JJ?

I am leaning towards JJ purely on POD.
I'd go Laird over JJ. Crows just have too good a draw to ignore from here and will likely go into the top 4. Laird has barely had a poor game. Lowest scores of 79 and 74 (which were 89 DT and 96 DT respectively so CD just didn't reward him).
Although I like JJ, the injury risk is there with him. I am worried he'll go back into 100+ form though. Worth a punt but I think Laird's a much safer pick and could easily match JJ with a ~100 average.

Cheers bomber, struggling with the choice now.

Went Rance over Laird few weeks ago at the last minute, and I am regretting that already for no real reason on a points basis.

Now thinking of overlooking Laird again, purely due to POD. Both have fairly nice draws home, and can see them both going big on occasions.

Rance probably hasn't got the upside of Laird but he's still a solid ~95 average. I wouldn't be too disappointed.
Being a bit more skeptical on Richmond's season, he might go pretty close to 100 as he probably scores better in close-ish losses due to more ball going down there if Richmond lose more games on the run home.

With B18 on this one. Laird is a solid as a rock and the Crows run home is too good to overlook (which was the reason I held him through his injury).

Apparently Barlow is back.

Planned trades were, OUT: Barlow, Petracca IN: Neale, Hannerbery

If Barlow is out it can save me a trade. So now to X vs Y part:

Kerridge, Neale and Hannerbery (I was running with Kerridge due to Barlow being out and had planned to upgrade to Dahlhaus or someone else in a few rounds)

vs

Barlow, Neale and Parker
(this means I keep Barlow but Hannerbery is now Parker but also saves and extra trade in a few rounds)

Purely due to his run home - hard to pass up on Sloane in that equation!

He is the one midfielders I don't have, who I watch every week and wish I did!

Starting to re-think my F6 spot. Originally was going to get Lycett for that eventual r/f cover. Greene has a food run home.

Tough one. I like the idea of R/F cover but thought I'd read NN is back in 3-4 weeks. Not sure where that leaves Lycett?

One thing everyone needs to remember with Lycett is, he was still averaging 87 with Nic Nat in the side.

Most are turning to him for cover, but are now worrying whether he will be right with news of Nic Nat going to be back earlier than expected.

If he was to produce efforts of 87 on field, or loopholed, from lets say round 19 or 20, through to the end of the year, plus whatever he is producing in the next month before NN is back, to me, that's extremely good from a bloke who has the ability to cover two lines.

Just my thoughts the last couple of days. :)
