Starting to re-think my F6 spot. Originally was going to get Lycett for that eventual r/f cover. Greene has a food run home.

Lycett V Greene
Tough one. I like the idea of R/F cover but thought I'd read NN is back in 3-4 weeks. Not sure where that leaves Lycett?
Yeah. Although I still like Lycett, he has Goldy this week (hard); Kruezer/Phillips in R17 (easy), and Gawn in R18 (hard) before NN potentially comes back against Pies or Freo.

With the two toughest rucking games against Goldy and Gawn in the next 3, it might be worth skipping him if he's your F6 and going for Greene. I still like him as an F7 option but not F6.

JJ (potential breakout player?) v McVeigh (fallen angel?) v Pittard (???).

All 3 have very similar standard opponents through the SC finals series, so I couldn't split them there.

I could delay this trade until next week but McVeigh's low BE makes this worth considering.

All 3 certainly have positives to picking them - and a 3 likely to fluctuate a little in scores. I think though you'd have to go McVeigh, seems to have worked his way back to form now and has the history proving what he can give you

Jeremy Howe vs. Ben Reid ??
Howe for me, by quite a distance.

Funnily enough I have found myself looking for a D-F replacement/upgrade for Adams this week given forward carnage, so I looked at both earlier today, along with Suckling.

The major problem I have with Reid is that he's so fragile. No point bringing someone like him in as cover, unless you have cover for your cover.

Howe looked surprisingly good to me though, at least, on paper - admittedly, I haven't seen much of him.

He averaged in the 50s in his first four games, including three sub 60 scores. Since then he's gone 8 @ 103. He seems to have had a role change mid-game in round 7 (see Inside Football), and since then he has gone 135, 104, 125, 102, 71, 85, 92. That includes a slightly lower TOG game as well.

I haven't completely decided on Howe myself, so I'd be keen in any other views, but given he (1) saves me a donut and (2) would actually even push Brodie Smith to D7, I think I'm likely to bring him in for Adams.

Who would you get in for Ablett out of Sloane Selwood R Gray or Parker? Is Steven a viable option or is that just chasing points?

Silvagni vs. Markov vs. Greenwood M/F Floating donut.

Currently have FWD cover of Howe via DPP, Phillips via DPP (not in atm), and trading Petracca to one of the options above this week to free up coin which will be used to turn Collins into a premium DEF (Boyd etc.), which means McVeigh most likely becomes D7. Hence, still have 'premium' cover in DPPing Howe to FWD line and McVeigh on field.

McVeigh D7! Wow you're going to finish very strongly! Well done managing that!

I think I'd grab Markov though, he looked excellent live.

Yeah thinking that he is the front runner, and if Phillips and Trengrove etc. can make a bit more coin, Greenwood can come in as a FD later in the year freeing up cash for final/additional trades and upgrades to further strengthen my side. He did look very impressive, should be given a good run now you'd think. Hardwick said after the game that McBean would be given and extended run in the side no matter how he played, and given Markov was 10x better than McBean, I can't see him being out anytime soon.
