Saw a brilliant grand final today in the Warrnambool and district league.
Nirranda just fell into the last spot in the finals by percentage. Today they defeated Old Collegians who went through the season undefeated.
Have mates who play in both teams so it's mixed feelings.
How many times do you see a team go undefeated all year then get done in the granny.
Nirranda by 7 points.
Next door neighbour plays for Nirranda, could be a big night.

Not quite the same thing, but we did have a team in our comp have 2 consecutive H & A seasons undefeated, but failed to win either of their finals both years!

2016 AFL Grand Final

Firstly let me say im not going to get ahead of myself. I fully expect to be a grumpy heart broken man in a weeks time yet again. However in the unlikely even we do get up (hoping the bye makes gws flat) id like to give attending the unlikely game a chance lol. And club members, afl and mcc members need to enter details this week.

Due to a transition period of changing jobs etc i basically couldnt afford a membership. So i seem screwed esp since i used to always in vain by the guranteed gf membership. However year after year on my facebook feed i always see people who are casual fans get to see their side in the final. Im reading there is no public tickets bar packages starting at 995.

So I thought id throw it out here to see if theres any connected people, afl members et who might be able to help in the very unlikely event id need it

I might be able to mate. Trusted source too but there's probably a long queue especially if the doggies make it. I'll ask him tomorrow for you

Yeah dunno if Ebay is going to fit the budget sadly. Otherwise I would just get the $995 package. But if I could afford to spare that then I wouldn't have been in this predicament to begin with lol.
