I'd only be guessing but I'd probably EVW on the back of his JS as long as he's not starting or you could at least loop him at D6. He's probably more likely to stick around i think but Black obviously has the better scoring potential and potential to make money.
Thanks. Would Black be above Parsons in your pecking order? And I'm currently playing Berry D6; I haven't been able to loophole in ages.

Backline rookie issues. Eagerly awaiting Newman making the final 22. If he doesn't I'm looking at a backline donut. My proposed trades of Otten and Beams to Shaw and Dusty will have to be changed.
I'm hoping I don't have to change those ins because it looks like a tough week for many and with two quality ins, it could be my moving week from 787.

Not necessarily but fwiw i'll be grabbing Parsons ahead of Black. It's probably a very simplistic way of looking at it but he's 20k cheaper, named on the ground and straight back in after his suspension which i think is pretty positive.

Whichever way I go it'll probably be the wrong way. I think I'd rather be wrong and $20k richer atm.

Grab Sheldon before going the Black.

Preuss > Parsons via DPP
Matera > Bont via DPP

Will leave me with 264k in the warchest...

...Thoughts?
Recent history suggests that with May, Kolo and Swallow back in this week for GC, Matera's scores may strengthen significantly...but I offer no guarantees :).

I wanna be a president of a club so Leuenberger it is for me!..:p

Anyone considering Giles? Sole ruck by default and handy Rd 12 bye to upgrade to Stef
Would not touch. Had the options of Vardy, Giles, Boyd and Bellchambers last week to avoid a donut with no replacement for Gawn found after Spencer went down but in the end the talk of Bellchambers not likely to stay in side even if went ok had me lean towards simply eating a donut and focus my two trades elsewhere and hope to have bigger funds to get a better ruck.

Another is Longer who looks ahead of Hickey who's been named emg this week. 260k with a b/e of 28.
Do not think Saints are clear on what they are doing with rucks so would not even contemplate.

If you want crazy, see my crazy post earlier on Tom Boyd, he's searching for a new president :p. Has Soldo and Giles in the next two.
ha ha. I think you recommended him to me last week. I could not take seriously.
Soldo I think is a dead end. Not going there. Rather have a donut 2nd week in a row than him.

after this week im down to 20 trades so dont know if i can stuff around trading a ruck twice.

im now thinking to jump on goldie. His price is tempting.
Yep, I considered him closely but ultimately just not confident he has his full mojo this year. I can get Goldy this week by trading Parfit to EVW and Spencer to Goldy but that leaves me barracking for Goldy out to help Preuss make more cash or Preuss not playing to hope Goldy gets bigger scores. Do not like being in that situation so not going to take him. Got an alternative in similar price range I think I will take now.

Preuss or Goldy?! Either way, it doesn't help the Goldy cause!
Exactly why I not taking Goldy.

Has anyone who needs a Ruckman here looked at Sam Jacobs or Matthew Kruezer? To be totally honest I don't know how good they are, but they might be something to consider.
I feel with both you get what you pay for. I closely looked at getting Kruezer last week but it was more a plan C and in the end the upside just did not suit me.
It is Jacobs I been 90% sure of going for this week if I decide this week I finally replace Gawn with a keeper ruck after trying stepping stone Spencer and losing out. If it suits my bye structure think I lock it in.

im now thinking to jump on goldie. His price is tempting. Avoids nank donut. Avoids bye carnage as ive just noticed im screwed rounds 11 & 13. Scott wants to make preuss work but currently he isnt making it work knowing goldie needs to be a loan ruck.

So no donut this week and one extra player round 12 is 2 weeks worth of extra scores for his cheap price.

question is who do i take to help me afford it.

EVW or parsons for one of steart, eddy, pickett, and butler
.
From these options, I would do Pickett > Parsons

Anyone bothering to downgrade Stewart?
I'm gonna hold for now and cross fingers. They seem to be rotating their team a fair bit so hopefully he's back in soon. -5 BE and looks like he can make it to 300k if he plays.

Hey guys, team linked below, I'm stuck as to which trades I should do this week! Broomhead out has thrown a spanner in the works, as I'd originally planned to go Parfitt & Beams to Black & Bont. While I could still do this, I would be copping a donut in the forward line. So now I'm unsure whether to do a double downgrade or simply trade Broom early to being in Black/Parsons and avoid a donut. Is there anything I'm missing?

WWYD? :)
Cheers!

He has played really well the last couple of weeks so I wouldn't think he will be out for long. I'll hold for now.

Surely we all have bigger problems to deal with anyway!

To me, makes sense to trade Broomhead. Bank the cash and avoid the donut.

Beams and Broomhead to Parsons and Bont looks good to me.

Agree with bb. Broomhead averaging 70 so probably only 50k or so left to make anyway, and no guarantee he comes back in time to earn that before his bye anyway. Cash him out and avoid the donut I reckon.
