Luke Ball is very important too. He, along with Pendles, Swan and Beams are the starting on-ball unit certainly. He does the protective and in/under work that really frees up the others to get on the outside where they are most damaging. It will be interesting to see their scores when they are all playing together. I see no reason why the top 3 scorers can't continue to score well together as I don't think Ball will steal too many points.
WIth Beams dominating last year and Sidebottom in patches, Swan and Pendles continued their merry way so I think with Ball in and later Beams may take some points but will be fine as long as Collingwood wins the match.

I'm looking forward to Bewick's performance today. This is a great opportunity to get back to the form he had shown in preseason. I think 4 goals and 16 disposals will net around 124 points which is what I need for a healthy downgrade next week plus a possible League match win this week. Go Lions!! LOL

The Big Questions today:
1) Will North stop Buddy Franklin?
2) Will North put a tag on Birchall?
3) Will the Daw-minator tear Hawthorn apart?

After a BREAKOUT Season from Dangerfield and slightly placing JPK into this argument, they haven't maintained their Average and Consistency from last Year.

It raises the question: Is Beams gonna be the 3rd to be added to the list, or will he maintain it? To be honest, I think he'll slightly drop to 105-110 in Average. Thoughts?
Ever had a quad injury? They don't go away too easily and Beams did his again a week or two ago. Don't get me wrong, he won't have forgotten how to play and I'll be keeping an eye on him. But I doubt he would have been doing too much conditioning work lately so it might take him a while to run out a match. On the good news side of things, he did complete most of the preseason, though how much of that has been wasted in the 2 months he will have missed will be a concern.

I need to give myself a serious talking to with Docherty named as sub and in my FDL team I did not nominate him with potential sub. Sense it is going to cost me a loss :-(

Ideal as a Sub when he comes back. Great for Supercoaches!!!

And that, ladies and gentleman, is why you wait 2 weeks to bring rookies in...

Too bad I didn't follow my own advice this week. fml
Literally LOL. I did the same with Kerridge who didn't exactly set the world on fire either so could've been a big mistake.

Terrible week for my SC Draft team:
Mundy, Goodes, Gibbs, LeCras, Cooney, Westhoff, and Cornes (C)

So yeah, I've just realised that my Duffield > Docherty cash grab (instead of straight swap to Hartlett... 140 points down the toilet) is probably going to end up being a useless trade.

If Goodes is suspended, Heath dropped, and Luke Brown injured (all likely), then I'll have to bring in another backline premium to cover. Most likely Heath > Hartlett. However, I could've just got Hartlett in this week, downgraded 2 rookies next weekend, and end up in the exact same position I'll end up in, except I would've had Hartlett's score over whatever Docherty gets today, this week...

Basically, about 100 points and 1 trade down the ****ter. Goodes has royaly shafted me this week. brb necking meself

Heath won't be dropped unless he pulled up really sore and have to be rested. He's earned his spot in the 22.

From what I've been reading on a different forum, Port supporters weren't that impressed with Heath's game. And Pittard will be straight back in this week - someone has to come out. Trengove/Schultz's injuries may be a blessing for him.

Would be good news for me if Heath retains his spot though. Means I can bring in that extra midfield premium I was originally going to. But I'm not that confident.

It's the coaches' view that is most important. I read somewhere that he pulled up sore and that probably explained his MIA in the last qtr, which could mean he'll rested this week. I think Goodes will be out 1 week with early plea. That leaves my defence with only Stevenson and Pittard to cover.
