I kind of had half an eye on Jordan De Goey but maybe not so much now as Collingwood may come down hard on him and he could miss the start of the AFL season in his second alcohol-related incident.

Spot may have just opened up for your man Bonner there Goodie, I'll be very surprised if we see Polec in the first 4-6 weeks with his history of injuries.

That's exactly what I like to hear mate! :)

Hope my man gets a good crack at it this year. In his very short career so far he has looked very, very good.

I remember someone bringing him in halfway through the first round to get a rookie score on the ground many years ago. Might have been Kamdyn McIntosh who had a massive Thursday or Friday night score.

Anyone have any info on why Brad Crouch is out this weekend? Have half an eye on him for my M6 spot and don't want to be taking him into the season if he's carrying niggles.

Yeah mate, hammy I believe. Not serious but serious enough to keep him out of the jlt1.

I liked him as a big improver this year but the addition of Gibbs was enough to turn me off him.

Setterfield’s done an ACL in the practice match.
That is terrible news for the young kid. Has been in team as a likely rookie since my first draft. He would have had real opportunities this year you would have thought. GWS are starting to get a bit decimated so who will take the opportunity I wonder. JLT for them will be very interesting

Why are all the SC relevant injuries happening to players I'm not picking!
It forces people on to my less popular players, and I'm greedy, I want them for myself!

Report via @theagesport says that Gaz left match sim with some hamstring tightness. Expected to play in JLT 2. #AFLFantasy #SuperCoach

Seeing as I'm ignoring his last 3 years, may as well ignore this too :p.
Only the real hardcore Gaz tragics will consider him now!
I always think of Rowsus when a risky pick has injury concerns preseason....Rowsus, your feelings on this turn of events please? :p

Ask yourself, what would the Cats coaching staff think the perfect number of matches be that Ablett needs to play to have him cherry ripe for Finals?

I'd say the mark is around 15 with a bit of leeway of around 3 or so games either way.

I've got no doubt if he plays a fair few games early that he'll be managed through winter to have him primed for a crack at September.

When they've got players like Duncan & Menegola to pick up a bit of the workload that they'll be taking from Ablett & Selwood (I think he's in a similar position body wise to Ablett) I reckon they'll use those younger bodies a bit more often now they're capable.
