Options 2 and 5 are the only ones I'd be seriously considering. I don't like the options of storing too much cash in the bank (gotta get those points on the field), and I can't see Hogan ending up a Top 10 FWD.

Gun to my head, I'd go Option 2. I think Grundy is more of a priority than Simpson. However, the only concern would be only having 2 DEF premiums remaining (potentially too many DEF rookies on-field).

thanks mate, do you know how much Grundy is projected to rise? i could go option 5 and then do Lycett to grundy next week with the help of a downgrade of maybe Brayshaw. Also Grundy is in for a bit of a challenge with this firday night weather which might keep his score down

Grundy's B/E is only 44, so if he has another good game tonight, he could potentially hit $600k next week.

That being said, Lycett's B/E is only 16.

Trying to avoid Round 14 Bye players at this stage and looking for a replacement for Lobb

I am down to:

Greene v Gray

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Gray for sure.

Pick the guy who's had 3 seasons averaging close to 110, back playing a decent chunk of mid time and plays for a top 4 side (Bigruss probably likes that comment :p)

Luke Ryan v Savage

Wait for ZGL v Crowden this week
Disclaimer, I am on record as being a Luke Ryan fan boy :p

But I reckon Ryan is your guy, just so clean with the ball, good kick to handball ration, takes intercept marks, doesn't need a whole lot of the ball to score well.

Having said that, I dont think Savage is the worst pick either...but Ryan slightly ahead of Savage in my very biased opinion :)

I've come to this decision myself. Can't justify any of Crowden, Henry, Richards, Rioli, etc., and with the word out of the GWS coach that ZGL is "a massive chance to get up for next week", I'm going to wait for him. Worst case, it's a couple of weeks, but it seems the more reliable option.

Any inflated English in forwards Vs Crowden/Henry
Just did some digging, I would definitely play English ahead of Crowden, don't know much about Henry.

I am now giving some thought to fielding English over Lycett. Seems to be a clear number one ruck with Trengove and Roughead still out, and scored 76 in that role last game. Managed an 80 splitting the role in round one, and only scored poorly in round two when he was splitting it again and up against the Eagles, including NN.

Sinclair also seems to have given up 100+ to each of his main opponents so far. Clearly English would be weaker than most other rucks, but it can't hurt if Sinclair has been giving up points. The Swans mids are guns but this is already accounted for in Sinclair's opponents' scores, and the Dogs looked a lot better last week.

This is to trade in, if I had English I would def be fielding him over Crowden/Fritz and Co thats why I am considering him as a forward trade in

I have a feeling Gray will spend more and more time up forward as the season wears on and Rockliff will slowly work his way more and more into the midfield.

It might be a closer call than some think.
That's if Rocky lasts the season  :p

I see I see. In that case, I think English would be quite viable even at a higher price if you thought he would retain the number one ruck role, although worth noting that both Roughead and Trengove appear to be listed as tests this week.

Given that, I'd probably err on Crowden, who has decent value in my view even if he doesn't play (FD from a Perth based side is handy), especially if you don't have an existing link between your forward and mids. Could still be a decent cash cow too, I suspect that Lyon will place value on his pressure acts.

Had a little flutter on Rock to get 30 touches this week. Got him at $26. Think with SPP out he’ll be in see ball get ball mode this week.

Slowly building, will have a break out game very soon.
