Here is a thread to celebrate small mercies and the tiny scraps that supercoach throw to us from time to time.

I traded in Jack Redden for $356K and he has averaged 111 and made about $150k. :)

I traded in Angus Brayshaw this week and he top scored for the game. :)

I rolled the dice and started Ed Richards without any loopholes or cover (even though i brought in Yeo) and he saluted in style with 102 pts and should make some decent cash in the coming weeks!

Mitch Robinson.

I picked him up in round 7. He started hot, scoring 66 to HT. He only scored 10 points in the third quarter, and finished on 100. The next two weeks, he scored 76 and 73, putting his average in my team at a measly 83 ppg.

This week, he had 35 disposals (a huge 26 contested), laid 7 tackles and received 4 free kicks. This translated to a whopping 172 SC points, and his average in my team is now a much more respectable 105.25 ppg. More where that came from please Robbo!

Traded in T Smith this week, because I was pretty sure most people would want him next week, and I thought he was a better Rookie option than Phillips.
I even put him on the ground, when I could have taken Guelfi's 68 that was sitting on the bench.

Well done

What made u pick Brayshaw, his heatmaps suggest no change to his role, scoring up although in two big wins.

I got off to a bad start so I'm chancing my arm a lot but his dual position was a big part of it. Going to see if I can float him between D6-7 and M8-9. I was almost going to take Seedsman so got lucky. I read somewhere that Goodwin talked about him gaining match fitness and going through the midfield. Even if it goes pear shaped at least supercoach has thrown me a little scrap of happiness.

Also glad I went against the grain on Rookies such as Henry, Ronke and Higgins as despite their perceived lack of JS, they're still playing and generating cash in my team.

They have proven to be amongst the best of that second wave of Rookies. Some will have 1 or 2, but I have yet to come across a team which has ALL THREE.

Rare happiness in my backline on weekend.

Ed Richards and Angus Brayshaw got nice tons with usual suspects, Simmo, Heath Shaw and Luke Ryan the others.
Hibberd 95 the only one without a ton.

Glad I never got seduced by Bonner early in season. Some were even talking him up as potential keeper. Was so close to grabbing round 3. From memory think Ed Richards saved me from that mistake.

Round 2 - traded Kreuzer to Grundy for a $70k profit.

You can close this thread now...:p
Yep, had the chance to do the same in round 3, went to NicNat instead...I don't want to calc the difference in points between those decisions. :(

Since Rd3...

Grundy - 8 games, 1031 total points @ 129
Naitanui - 7 games, 693 total points @ 99

Difference from Rd3 to Rd10 is 338 points minus whatever your cover scored for the game where NN was suspended.
