I have had a time-poor and challengingly-hard two-year stretch doing a Masters, adding a child to my family, and finding extra responsibilities at work... Wait... Is this a rant thread?

Anyway, this year I have had more time to myself for SC. Don't know if my ranking will keep going North, and not sure if it is a direct correlation to this extra time, but am currently sitting at 220th at the moment.

Possibly it's just a coincidence, but I'm pretty happy to be close to the pointy end for a change.

Can we stop the season now? Plz. ;-)

Since Rd3...

Grundy - 8 games, 1031 total points @ 129
Naitanui - 7 games, 693 total points @ 99

Difference from Rd3 to Rd10 is 338 points minus whatever your cover scored for the game where NN was suspended.
Thanks but it didn't really want to know that, makes me sad thinking of what could have been and this is the happy happy joy joy thread!

Ahern is a very happy happy joy joy story, looked very impressive on the weekend in his debut game.

My loophole agent playing in a bye round.
Tom Murphy timing quite nice. If he can score well, that would be a super bonus.

That's definitely a Happy happy, Joy joy moment.

He looked not too out of place last game, I like how he goes for his kicks to try and set up an attacking play, takes a lot of confidence for a kid in his first game to be able to trust his natural instinct.

Be keen to see him myself this week. Sounds similar to Ahern in kicking confidence.

Rocky coming good!!

Buddy and Rocky both greeted me with shocker scores first up but have come good of late. Walters and McLean have done the same. Hoping Walters and McLean can return the faith in the second half! #stayingpositive

I really wanna see Billings in this thread but for the right reasons not the 'i've finally traded him out' reason lol

It would go down in SC folklore if he was the one that turned someone's season around because they got him at 300k!

hmmmmm

After last season going from 3,992nd to 661st during the byes, I'm on track for a similar result of sorts this season.
I have gone from 28,073rd before the byes this year, to currently sitting 10,409th.
If I can push into the top 7-8,000 after next week, I will consider the byes have treated me well again!

When the time is right I would really like to understand how you have done that. I had ambition of trading aggressively through the byes and making ground but then carnage struck last week and this week and the priority became trying to get 18 on the park (which I couldn’t this week).
