Lloyd (511k) v Simpson (487k) v Webster (515k) v Hurn (486k) v Howe (526k)
I’ve had Howe for 3 rounds and he has been terrific so far. Although tbh I don’t see much separating them points wise at the end of the year. Also depends on your bye set up as Laird (if you have him) shares a bye with Lloyd and Webster.
Taking these factors into account, Simpson > Howe > Hurn > Lloyd > Webster

I already have Savage and Laird and Doedee so really don't want round 14. Although, should have Hurley, Ridley by then to go along with Sicily, Yeo and Murphy (potentially) all playing so only 1 or 2 donuts on the field max as every other position in round 14 is covered for the time being.

In saying that, i want Simpson via Doedee in a few weeks after Carlton's bye but before Adelaide's so going Lloyd then Simpson for D5 and D6 this week and the next two just in the reverse order of Lloyd first due to prices and breakevens.

Murphy has the Rd 14 bye as well , unless you meant Murray.

Walters or JJK and $50k?
That's hard, Walters probably going to Avg a little more but he always seems to get injured, I don't trust him to keep playing every week or that he will stay in the midfield permanently. Josh Kennedy has been building slowly since his start to the season, and could have a monster this week vs the lowly Saints who are depleted down back. He then has the bye to freshen up and can hit the second half of the season refreshed. We know he always seems to have a few of those real monster games each season so hopefully they are still to come.

I think I'll be trying to get Kennedy in to my team. Too much value at just 366k.

Boak v The Hoff

Cheers in advance :)
really interesting debate. ben mentioned hoff going 85+ for a number of seasons however boak has gone 90+ since 2010 except in 2017. boak doesnt really miss games. i think he can avg 95+ this season. the interesting factor to this debate is hoff score is higher when ryder is out of the team. Since round 7 his scores have reduced. however port have come out today indicating ryder is battling achillies soreness which makes you think he might miss games throughout the season. if that is the case, hoff can go big but who knows if or how many games ryder misses.

if i was playing safe and i had 2 spots left in my forward line, boak for me. i would then see how the ryder situation was going and then consider hoff/buddy/walters/jjk if i didnt have any of them.

Thanks mate. With one trade being rocky this week, I may grab Smith this week then get JJK the week after his bye

Bit of WCE coloured glasses there LITS? ;) :p
Yeah possibly... But JK is a great price for what he can deliver, He's also playing in a winning side that is high scoring. And will benefit from a week off at the BYE.

Walters can also score really well, But just look at his Games played record each year... It's really poor.

I might also try to fit both in with one being a loop on the bench.

How do you think he's moving LITS? Sometimes when i watch him, he doesn't seem to be moving that well but it's those same times, where he gets 5 metres on his opponent lol

Do you think the emergence of Darling is having an impact on him?

A very good point re games played.

As a bit of an asterisk, worth noting that he seems to miss his games in long stretches. From what I can see he's had exactly one stint on the sidelines (not playing AFL) every season except two. Essentially I would assume that if he gets injured, you likely trade him immediately ... he's quite unlikely to be in and out repeatedly. At least you probably know what you're dealing with, unlike a Buddy or Sloane type of situation.

He doesn't seem to be moving too bad at all. He is very good at getting that quick break on his defender.

His total lack of pre-season might still be affecting him a little, but then again we have seen older players miss pre-season's and because of their bulid-up of work over previous season, be fine and get back to normal levels.

We seem to have improved our movement up in the forward line this year with clever spacing and leading patterns and have also added multiple weapons to the mix. JK has been allowed to ease back into the season with Darling having a blinder of a season so far, LeCras & Cripps both back to great form, while Waterman, Rioli & Ryan have all added goal kicking power to the mix.

So JK has been able to go about his business kicking his 3 goals a game. I do feel a couple of those monster scores are coming after the bye.

Rocky vs. Walters?
Definitely Walters ( only thing against him is round 14 bye)

Don’t trust Rocky after prior years and whilst has great price and no byes left, don’t want that dreaded 20-30 score because he broke down again.

Definitely Walters at his price and similar ceiling. Also dpp status
