Milera has looked good coming off the back flank the last few weeks , does he stay there though with Smith back ?

Always think Crows are 1 tall too many in defence and need Brown , Laird , Smith + 1 to give them run and carry , so maybe Milera and/or Seedsman
Be interesting when Smith gets back Herb, not sure. They've rotated a few through that running role this year, but Milera catches the eye when he puts the foot down. He can evade, has blistering speed and very good disposal and from what I can see makes pretty good decisions too.

Vying for the D4 spot with J Crisp for 2019 as it looks very likely that my D1 to D3 will be R Laird, S Docherty and Z Williams.

As mentioned above J Crisp will be another player to consider starting in 2019.

Avg since Rd8: 107 from 9 (low of 92 and a high of 119, 3/9 below 100, 1/9 below 95, 6/9 100+, 5/9 110+)

Only 3 matches below 85 for the season and 9 over 95.

Averaging 23.7 disposals in 2018.
Avg when disposals equal/exceed 24: 114.2 from 5 (low of 97 and a high of 128, 1/5 below 100, 4/5 110+)
Avg when disposals below 24: 90.55 from 11 (low of 65 and a high of 117, 8/11 below 100, 2/11 110+)
12/16 games with 21 or more disposals: 104.83 from 12 (low of 78 and a high of 128, 5/12 below 100, 1/12 below 89, 6/12 110+)

57.24% of his disposals are by foot.
Contested possession rate of 34.82%.
2018 Time on Ground: 88%

Also very durable as he has currently played 82 consecutive games.

Think they said Smith is back playing SANFL this week so we may see him back in the senior side before th.e end of the season.

You are spot on about Milera though , adds a different dimension

Yes depending on starting price and recovery Doc and Zac Attack are lockity locks for me.

Hopefully the defensive rookies appear so I can go 3-0-5 if not Andrews will more than likely my D4.

Dunkley also now on the watchlist (hoping Bont , Danger & Dusty don't get F/M status.

Pretty sure Thanh had him earmarked as one to watch this preseason.

I would like to be rewarded for following the games and being an active player. Would appreciate being able to switch in and out unplayed players AND any still playing players, into and out of the e position.

Sure, once they have played, then lock them in, but if still playing and stinking it up in 3rd quarter or injured in first, swap with a live E. I would like the ability to get online and switch if I still have a non played with a current playing player in reserve.

Sounds more fun to me.

Cheers

I like your thinking Beijing_Sting :), but I am not able to follow all the games, so I wouldn't be in favour, as it could give my opponent an advantage to beat me in the League games.

Maybe a compromise would be that each team starts with 18 scoring players on the field and have 4 'Interchange' players, one in each position.
So the 18 players on the field are our scoring players and the Interchange players scores are only counted if they score more then one of the players on the field, in that position.
eg. In defence, Doedee gets injured and only scored 24 pts, but the interchange player, who happened to be B. Rice scored 59 pts, so Rice's score will count and not Doedee's score.

Understand the sentiment of the first suggestion but don’t like it as it would give an advantage to those that can follow every game and I think that would be impracticable for most.

I do like the second suggestion because it does loosely simulate the actual game where you only have 18 on field at any given time. It would allow injury affected scores to be absorbed and encourage more speculative picks and more high standard deviation players (ie key position players). I think it would result in teams looking a little more different as the season progresses. I wonder whether you would need lists of 30 players under that scenario.

Yes you would still need a list of 30 so the Cash Cows could build up the Cap.

Is it wrong for those that dedicate the most time to have an advantage? (devil’s advocate)

Looking forward to the October rule change announcements and trying to figure out how they’ll impact on SC scoring.
Is this the 666 starting positions they’re floating?

Someone remind me how they decide sc positions. I don’t think the proposed rule changes could have an effect on those???

I posted before the possible lighter iteration of the 666 came out in the media.

I think the full blown starting positions (not just centre bounces) could have massive implications on players scoring in SC.

less stoppages would mean less tackels and hitouts just as a start.
