Commentators saying he is a lock for Round 1 playing the small forward role. Probably shouldn’t expect high scores but if he plays it will be hard not to select him.
He's $157k in SC though, if there’s any other cheaper option you’d probably take it over him.

Constable is pretty much a lock at $123k, reckon Atkins from Geelong as well at $112k will get early games, seems to like to tackle and do all of the pressure stuff, tog % was very high too yesterday which bodes wells for him. Not sure if Hind will be given an early run, limited tog % but looked ok when he played. Scott from North in the previous game did some very nice things too. Gibbons at $102k is also an easy one for the bench.

Bewley and Setterfield are cheaper too and sound like they doing ok.

Bewley only named as en emg for JLT1 which is concerning. Setterfield is a lock as a forward yeh. Drew did some nice things in the second quarter of this one, not sure if he gets a round 1 game though.

Bewley is playing JLT1. Squads for Monday’s game were finalised today. Initial team listing were a mistake by AFL website.

Final Teams

RUCKMAN Sean Darcy's failure to overcome hamstring tightness will leave Fremantle's Scott Jones opposed to Collingwood All Australian Brodie Grundy on Monday.

Despite scans clearing Darcy of damage following the injury in the Dockers' intraclub last Friday, the 20-year-old will join Aaron Sandilands on the sidelines for their JLT Community Series opener at Joondalup Arena.

Fremantle v Collingwood at Joondalup, 3.40pm AWST

Interesting looking at the fantasy scores and stats as a whole you would've thought North won that game.

5 x DT tons for North vs St Kilda's one.

Interesting stuff. Maybe North play a more possession type game this year, which iirc hasn't been the case in previous years.

A lot of over-possessing of the footy in the backline especially in the second half.

Just noticed a very interesting stat on the broadcast.

P Ryder currently has 8 hitouts with 7 to advantage for a HTA rate of 87.5%.

Port a much better side when he's in the ruck. Surely when the real stuff starts he's the number 1 man.
Hear, hear.

Hopefully he is not relegated too much to the forward line this season due to the arrival of Lycett as Ryder's a great tap ruckman evident by his historical HTA rates in comparison to Lycett who is one of the worst tap ruckmen in the league.

Looks like JMac was the man to cash in the most. Finally might be his year after teasing us for so many.

Any chance Hall takes the kick ins and possibly across half back with his pace? Thoughts @KLo30?

I don't think Hall will take the kick ins with Thompson, Tarrant and JMac all down there. Hall will use his run off half back.

Interesting the NTH dominated the hit outs but only broke even in the clearances ...
