Hey guys :) Was just going through the wonderful information posted by KLo30 in the “JLT Game Summaries” thread. Thought I would further break up some of the key information.

These are the players who played more than 40% TOG and were on track to score more than 140SC points if they played 100% game time; I broke them up in to some categories to make it slightly easier on the eyes to read through:

Popular premiums (in the wider majority of teams on SCS):
Jack Macrae
Patrick Dangerfield
Patrick Cripps
Clayton Oliver
Lachie Neale
Todd Goldstein
Isaac Heeney
Matt Crouch
Stephen Coniglio

Unpopular premiums/ex premium’s that are not really the flavour of the month:
Shannon Hurn (gaining traction though)
Sam Menegola
Joel Selwood
Scott Pendlebury
Callum Ward
Heath Shaw

Potential break out players that have had a lot of attention on the site:
Jack Steele (My boy)
Brad Crouch
Brodie Smith
Tim Taranto
Callum Mills
Jayden Short
Angus Brayshaw
Tom Liberator
Zac Williams
Dom Sheed

Rookies:
Will Setterfield
Jackson Hatley

Flash in the pan/ one game wonders – Or do they need a closer look?
Mitch Wallis
Bradley Hill
Jasms Harmes
Christian Salem
Daniel Venables
Daniel Rich
Mitch Robinson
Michael Walters
Travis Varcoe
Paul Ahern
Jamie Macmillan
Rhys Mathleson
Jonathon Ceglar
Ben Ainsworth
Darcey Tucker

The majority of premiums performed as we all expected. I have a mix of those premiums but also have/had Martin and Merrett. Merret looked underdone and has fallen out of my team; Martin looked solid and was running at a 122 type if he played 100% TOG which is solid enough for now. I’ve steered clear of Mills and Liberator… will be hard to ignore them at their prices if they continue to perform... I just can't bring myself to trust Liberator.

Anyone have any of the “Flash in the pan” players in their sides?

Gosh I love this time of year... bring on the FOOTY

If for some reason I decided not to pick him in my forward line, there is no way I would put him in my midfield. There are a handful of players there capable of scoring as well as him who cost less. It’s only forward line or upgrade target (if I’m feeling game enough).
Very interesting ... I think he's at least as cheap (versus his potential average) as almost anyone, and his season ceiling is the highest in the comp. For me he was a 100% lock even if he was mid only!

Seeing those CBA numbers for Mundy makes me feel much more comfortable with him at F3 for me. 14 of 19 contested possessions as well.
Is it possible he was playing in the middle as a mature body ex Fyfe?

I agree, but I also wouldn't put him in my midfield unless he was MID only - there's no reason not to pick him as a forward.

Awesome data, thanks!

Quite surprised at Merrett and Walsh at only 3 and Gray at 4. Dusty looks good though.
I think Merrett’s numbers will pick up, he only played a qtr and a half and played more on a wing

I’m very keen on him too, he went at 111 and 109 in the third and fourth season, but fell back to a 100 average last year. 5-10% improvement and he’s back towards his historical top end and a very appealing price point too. Only problem is I can’t see where I can fit him in, maybe him out for Fyfe and pocket the change?

Some of this information is contradicted by what Freako tweeted out. Freako has Taranto at 18 and Mills at 15, Dunkley at 7. There’s no way Walsh, Dev Smith and Miles are correct

Edit: I could be wrong on Walsh he played a lot more time coming off the wing than I realised
Yeah, the poster tried to compile these himself from watching the games on TV so they might not be accurate- but still useful !

Fair enough and good on him but I was just saying they’re not as accurate as he claims so take them with a grain of salt :)

I bloody hope so as i had him penciled in for a decent increase this season before the injury. Starting him runs the risk of getting all his poor scores then having the masses jump on when he looks to be fit, those sorts of picks presenting themselves and already having them in your side can really put a dampener on your season.

Completely agree with this. He’s a close watch for me. As you know with players who are underdone, they can start slow

I think he still plays in the middle with Fyfe there but how much is probably the more important question. They would no doubt want to get midfield minutes into their kids but while they're only in the second year i don't see them throwing them in the deep end quite yet, not while they've got Mundy and Walters as reliable options.
