I can’t believe that people are actually considering trading Danger out after a 97.
Don't get me wrong, Danger is still clearly the number 1 forward by my reckoning as I said and fits the bill as both an accumulator and contested player, but it would be remiss to not consider the possibility that he won't have that 20/25 point gap over the next best, especially with the way Geelong structured their midfield on Friday night. It's less about Danger underperforming than it is about getting on the bolters.

Nothing's set in stone yet and it's not a decision that has to be made right now but I think it's important to be open minded about all possibilities early in the year, which is something I have personally struggled with in the past.

finally ?

I think Scott has hinted enough over the last few months that for Geelong to go forward they need less reliance on the holy trinity as their midfield mainstays

Can we just start again?
Happy with most of the rookie choices in fairness, just disappointed in the players I’ve earmarked as keepers.
Had Bont and Hoff in my team and changed them both to Oliver and Heeny, was worried about their consistency.
Prob hold fire on my premium choices, it’s a long season, and those trades will be worth more later.

Very tempting to go early on this trade this week
Olive to sheed
Smith to Lloyd

Lloyd is a must have in the backline if I don’t get him now then it will be very hard to get him in before the byes

Tempting to go Steele to Gibbons and Collins to Lloyd, without checking if the maths work.

98 against 2018 Grand Finalist as a forward.......... I will take that as his floor.

upside if he does get mid time which he didn't get last year either in the first few games.
