Yeah, I've gone a bit sour on the floating donut. I just think there are too many good midfield and defence rookie options that I'm finding it hard to justify wasting a spot on a bloke who won't play and won't generate any cash. I understand the big benefits are there and it's a good strategy to use, but then again, it is a double-edged sword and it can backfire. I'm just gonna get another rookie who'll actually play and generate 100-150k and try upgrade my team as early as possible. I'll probably just use Sam Rowe/Daniel Currie to take advantage of the captain loophole where possible. Sam Colquhoun would be my floating donut of choice though.
