Why Setterfield over Parker this week?
Was a bit of a gut feel, though based off stats from JLT etc and the fact that I thought Carlton would push Sydney this week. Doesn't seem to have worked out though!

Not taking Setterfield score but just happy no serious injury from first quarter. Parker it is. Meanwhile, get busy Drew.

For what it's worth??
I have Setterfield in my team and although his actual stats are reasonable, his scoring does not seem to reflect the same. Some players have good stats and bad scores while others have average stats and good scores..
I think I will be taking his first price rise and using the money elsewhere. setterfield.png
No conclusion being made from 3 games, simply food for thought.

Mixed bag. Took Constable score via loophole. Had Drew on field but suspect many had him too, so harm not too much there. Rozee and Walsh outright on field. Very nicely done young fellas. Setterfield looped but not taking score, so over to Parker up forward on field today

Emergency Clark 65 from Thursday night, not taken as traded Hore to Scrimshaw. Duursma scored 1 more than Clark so fair enough he passed the test too. If Scrimshaw, Collins and Parker can go ok, would be nice finish to rookie roulette round three. Burgess and Scott will sit it out on the bench so I will be content with pair of 60's from them. Gibbons on bench had really poor round but at lowest price you can get, can wear that for now but needs to lift big time to not be traded for Stack in a week or two.

The DEF rookie roulette is an absolute crapshoot at the moment with the most popular options all averaging around about the same.

Try to pick who to start this round out of Collins, Scrimshaw, Clark and Duursma..

Is Gibbons playing as a HFF or a small forward and not a midfielder?
Don't really understand why they would take him if they weren't actually going to use him through his strongest position. Surely there were other players they could have taken more suited to a forward role than Gibbons.

To be honest, I rather them than the likes of Setterfield, Parker & Balta... inconsistent yo-yos

Yes I prefer the DEF rookies but due to how close they are in average, it’s very hard to pick who to field. Especially now with Collins bouncing back from a horrible debut with the Suns.

You haven’t got Burgess to swing Moore up forward and then bench Parker and Setterfield?

Nope no Burgess. Didn’t start with Moore either. Brought Moore in up FWD at the start of last round.

Collins is the real roulette. All other options seem to not really matter.

Over the three rounds he has been on par with Drew and Parker - 1 poor score and 2 good.

You just remember the terrible 1st round score after which many traded him out ;)

If Rocky is out would that change?
Yes but Rocky almost certainly plays in my opinion from what I’ve heard.

Trengove will come in for someone I would think though. Had back to back 40 touch 10 tackle games in the reserves.

I meant just in relation to the DEF rookies but yes Parker and Drew appear to now be roulettes too!
