It’s a really tough one. As bad as it sounds I think one of the upside cases is that someone gets injured and he gets a more lucrative role from that. Obviously you wouldn’t wish that on another player, but as a utility, and with injuries occurring most weeks, it’s probably not an unrealistic expectation that it will happen at some point. Their rookies will probably start to tire soon too, potentially driving a bit more change in personnel and perhaps role.

He’s also providing cover for me for Mummy, who I suspect most people can’t or won’t bring in due to having their rucks locked away, or because the risk of him missing is elevated.
At least Hoff is making that’s bit safer and I think Mummy could make good cash and points near term. I wouldn’t have picked Hoff just for that benefit but it is a bit of cream on top of a smaller than expected cake.

Well said, I picked him for potential cover too.

Unfortunately he's not much better cover than a donut at the mo, and a very expensive one at that. Looks soft and disinterested... has he had a dummy spit over something maybe? I actually found myself yelling at the tv for him to do something, anything, even if it was just for him to pick his nose.
If I can somehow live with the emotional stress of watching him "play", I've just about resigned myself to parking him at F6 for now and sorting out the rest of the team and to leave him until the last correction...he surely is better than what we are currently seeing and a bit of time may cure him and help him to get his mojo back, I hope.

I didn't play seriously around the time of Relton Roberts.

I actually can't believe Balta is scoring like this. If you consider 75 to be an average player, he's having 1/4 the impact of an average player per game (obviously not truly accurate but still).

Even worse, I'll trade him and he will score 80.
