Thanks mate. It's a very, very confusing week. I'm concerned about continuing to expose Drew and Parker on field each week, at this rate - Setterfield and Balta don't help either!

First of all, I'd say Kelly should be your first upgrade - no brainer (though I would assume you've already thought of this).

I'd say that Scott to Rockliff makes a lot of sense in your position - but at the same time, depends how you feel about Libba being a true premium.

Otherwise, Jack Billings is in form :p.
Parker to a premium forward might be the play now if you don't want to wait for Kelly.
Thanks bomberboy,

I have J Kelly, J Macrae & N Fyfe on Midfield upgrade wish-list but can I afford all of them this year with low cash generation from rookies? Hence Rockliff.
Forward upgrades T Kelly, D Smith, ??? which is where Marshall comes in? Billings just no.

????

North Melb.
He has been an outstanding pick in that every owner would have taken his scores so far if they were offered to you prior the season start. But he is now at risk of falling behind the other mid price madness in the midfield.
Outstanding for me would be to swap his R1 and R4 scores around so he is still making cash!
But maybe my expectations are just too high huh

Sheed and Parker -> Boak and stack

Would have to field one of Atkins, stack or gibbons
But won’t have to field Parker obviously

Hopefully then could upgrade constable to rocky next round

Reckon Constable still has a fair bit of money to make honestly. Not sure I'd be doing that.

Don't mind those trades - any cash in the bank?

Looking to improve my team this week;

D: L Whitfield, R Laird, Z Williams, J Scrimshaw, X Duursma, M Hore B: J Clark, C Burgess
M: P Cripps, L Neale, C Oliver, Z Merrett, T Liberatore, S Walsh, C Constable, T Atkins B: Z Butters, B Scott, M Gibbons
R: B Grundy, T Goldstein B: R O'Brien
F: P Dangerfield, I Heeney, R Gray, D Moore, W Drew, M Parker B: W Setterfield, N Balta

I have $300K to spend.

The options I can see are either T Rockliff or R Marshall in. I don't believe I can get both in.

Rockliff goes again my injury risk rules.
Marshall has no proven history.

Looking for opinions on these 2 or if there are other options I'm not seeing.

Thanks for reading.
Balta to Marshall

Forget the other ideas you’ve got to push Drew to F6 and get Parker off field

$560k for Boak? I reckon there’s only one way that can go unless he’s now the new Gaz pumping out 120+ every week. It just won’t happen even though he looks great.

Last week was the time to get him in.

Still has a break even of 58 and a midfielder who is given to you as a forward in SuperCoach is gold

Butters and Scott for Stack and Marshall...

Is everyone sold on Marshall continuing to score 90+

Other option is to go Sheed to Neale instead of Scott to Marshall

Thoughts...

Scratch that i'm 10k short going sheed to Neale

Either doing one or both.
Butters > stack
Goldy > mummy

Butters trade nets 140k odd and mummy nets 200k.
Only used 2 trades so far.

Williams would be a potentially controversial option, but could well make sense if you don’t think he will be a good keeper and you think Rocky will.
Thanks Darkie. I did consider moving Williams on to fund the rocky trade funnily enough. I can trade him to Smith or JJK if I was feeling adventurous but not sure it’s worth it, although Scott to Stack also doesn’t seem especially worth it.

Looking at my forwardline I may be in trouble this week so might need to strengthen that instead.

Trying to think of a way to get Stack in and Rockliff via Butters.

I reckon Constable & Butters to Stack/Ross and Rockliff might actually be affordable and leave me with a midfield of:

Cripps, Cogs, M.Crouch, Steele, B.Crouch, Rocky, Libba, Walsh
You’re slowly building a midfield full of guys that may not end up top 6 mids. Looks great now but post upgrades you could be falling behind. I know you will say but you will upgrade all these 100-105 blokes later but you won’t have enough trades especially if you let cash cows like Constable go too early and bring in rookie spuds like Stack could be.

I’d hold Goldy. Have the same option as yourself and just think with his run coming up he’s worth holding.

Yeah was a moment of laughter just wanting Rocky. Realistically was always going to upgrade a rookie to Marshall or Crouch to Neale,

I'll keep Setterfield this week so i have a loophole option.
Who are the options for the loophole? Is it

If it’s Burgess/Balta with Drew? If so, is it worth it?

I saw this week first hand how it can bite you (Butters on for Constable).
