Boak has been playing where he should be, mids. After a few years of him playing at full back and in the grandstand, couldn’t pick him.
Can't fit them all in the mids though once they got Rocky -> Rocky , Wines , Wingard , Robbie Gray , SPP pushed Boak out.

Wingard leaving opened up a spot for Boak again.

Good luck to him , can't say he was on my radar to start.

Interesting that you think he is lacking self motivation and that is part of his poor scoring, hmmm. I thought he might be carrying an injury, but didn't think it could be lacking desire to win the ball, good point!
In summary then, Westoff is lacking self motivation, he's playing more forward and PTA is playing poorly, hmmm.

Hinkley admits his side has some challenges in wanting to play their style of game each week, and believes they weren’t able to do that against the Tigers.
“There is still plenty of work for us to do,” he said.
“We’ve got a long way to go to become anything like the Richmond Football Club.
“I said to our players inside that we wanted to play the way we do and we didn’t play the way we wanted to.
“There are some challenges for us.”
It's interesting this has been mentioned. At times on the weekend he looked to be lacking impetus to his game ... you do sometimes see that from absolute stars (they can't run hard all game) but I wasn't sure if it was warranted from his prior efforts (maybe not :p) or just the way that he plays, more of a laconic kind of style.

I actually hadn't really considered he may be carrying an injury, but for someone who has played over 100 games straight I'm not sure that should be a huge surprise. I think one of the things you have to be able to do to play that many games, is to play through injuries. Maybe he's lacking motivation and/or fitness right now.

Does anyone who knows his play better have a view?

Which 2 of Hore, Stack and O'brien should I trade in this week given only 2 trades.
Hore and O’Brien for mine.

All have questionable JS but those two have higher ceilings and scoring consistency imo especially O’Brien if Jacobs miss.

Could see the following:
O’Brien 80-85 averaged with the worst JS.
Hore 55-70 average with poor JS.
Stack 45-70 average with ok JS.

Ok SCS community! I need your advice.

My team’s flying at the minute and I’m only about 400 off the leader, but not having Whitfield is holding me back.

Which option would you pick?

A) Moore & Williams > Stack and Whitfield
Pros: gets Whitfield early and can loop fwd rookies with Setterfield for a couple of weeks
Cons: moving on 2 solid mid-pricers early and loses DPP

B) Butters>Stack
Pros: Starts building a war-chest for early upgrades
Cons: A return to average for Butters will see his cash generation back on track and will miss out on approx $80k

C) No trades
Pros: Saves a trade
Cons: Won’t close the gap on the front-runners

That's a great start, well done.

B for me amongst the options listed. If you are reasonably comfortable with Stack's JS, this seems a pretty standard trade.

I would also consider whether you want Rocky or whether you're comfortable not having him.

If you do want him, I'd consider Worpel as one avenue unless you're sold that he is a good keeper. Alternately DPP could allow you to bring Rocky in for a def, albeit most of your defs look to be coming along nicely.

R O'Brien is not your typical 'Rookie' Ruck in the traditional sense as he's been in the system now for 4 years and has been ready and waiting in the wings for the past 2. Made his debut towards the end of the 2016 season, so he's AFL ready.

The only question now is the status on Jacobs' injury. Is it a short term (another 1 or 2 weeks) or an LTI...? If it turns out to be an LTI (not wishing this upon Jacobs in anyway), then O'Brien could be one of the better Rookie for 2019.

Question is you need to bring him in this week for the cash generation, otherwise you miss out on $70k approx. We may not know about Jacobs injury until next week.

Hi all! Hope all of you are well!
Can you please offer some trade advice to my team below? I'm going around in circles and can't decide on anything o_O

I'm thinking some of the following scenarios:
1. Sheed --> Z.Marrett and C.Jones --> Stack
2. Butters --> Z.Marrett and C.Jones --> Stack
3. Parker --> Marshall and C.Jones --> Stack

I can't afford a situation where I get both Marrett and Marshall.
On top of this I think Setterfield is suspended and Parker is injured??! Balta has been pretty bad so far. I got no solid forward point scoring options. At the same time I don't want to miss out on Merrett lol

What to do?!?!

Thanks!!

Based on the information at hand, I'm taking the plunge as the potential upside is better than any other Rookies on offer. The risk is no different with taking any other Rookies based off 2 games, however, with O'Brien we know that he can hold his own as their 1st Ruck and Jacobs 'slight' knee knock has now turned into 3 weeks. Only need O'Brien to play another 2/3 games to make it worthwhile as unlike our current FWD Rookies crop, his floor seems to be 70 so will appreciate quite quickly off the back of that.

Anyone know much about Liam Baker? Fair effort on the weekend for the Tigers but don't much about JS or role.

I'm assuming you're trading in ROB for a Setterfield/Parker via Bines?
