28 trades still to go... thinking of moving Collins > Hore and Moore > Baker.

Gives me 26 trades and $437K in the bank...

Anything better?

Looking at your team, I'd be looking to make an upgrade down back rather than have all that cash sitting in the bank. You're looking pretty think back there.

Maybe Collins > Hore, Clark > Hurn

Remember we are likely having another downgrade in Hately after this round

Parker > Baker for 53k
Setterfield > Ross for 76k

Leaves me with 215k in the bank and 25 trades left. Currently ranked 793.

What do you reckon?

Make both trades or just the one? Can trade either player to either Via DPP

Next week one of Clark, Butters or Atkins will likely be traded down as well and I’ll upgrade Sam Collins.

I want Baker but don’t like the cash generation from a trade and reckon Setterfield will eventually go up to 250k, he’s still probably worth it. Ross gives me extra money to get things moving at this stage as well but I don’t know about his job security as it isn’t tremendous with Cotchin returning in 2 or more weeks but he could continue to get a crack. Another option is to trade Butters this week and keep Setterfield and play Drew at M8 and Baker at F6. I just think Butters will eventually go to 320-350k and has more money to make than Setterfield so I’m hesitant to trade him unless he has another 23.

Setterfield out definitely for me, toss the coin on Baker v Ross from all reports but Baker might have better JS.

Would only do both if you absolutely need the cash because they're both pretty average downgrades in terms of money earned

Can't find any rookies to downgrade for the current crop on the bubble. I like Baker but Parker to him only nets $60k. Both Hately and Hayes next week look more enticing. Still on 29 trades and would like to use them purely on downgrades that net at least $130k and upgrades.
Baker might be a very good cash cow but I’m not making enough money by trading to him unless I trade J Clark to him via D Moore (but that leaves my forward line more exposed and I like having Moore in the worse line with Drew at F6) putting baker at F6 and Parker still at F7, Bines at F8. You could trade Butters to him but Butters could go to mid 300’s. I might still do that trade along with Parker to Ross but I don’t really like the way my forward line will look. Unless people really think Baker will continue to score 70+?

Need to trade milera. Was thinking Sicily or Walters via Moore. Do you see walters keeping his midfield spot?

Also has conner rozee made his money?

Walters will always have a pretty healthy split of Mid/Fwd time I would think because we have a few others who can play small up forward.

I think Rozee has probably gotten pretty close to maxing out. Might have another $30k in him but not much else unless he can pull out another spike score

One trade this week: Parker to Baker, not much cash but he looks like he’s worth it. Leaves me with 140k.

one of Collins, Atkins, Butters or J Clark to Hayes or Hately the week after and an upgrade at the same time to one Sicily, Stewart or Luke Ryan

I'll only consider getting Baker if it removes Parker off field. If Baker fails you don't want two of these rookies on field.

does anyone have insight on bakers and ross js?
Based on form I'd say Baker's is better, Ross I don't trust to score very well even if he stays in the side because he was such a low draft pick. Riewoldt probably comes in and Balta goes out. Baker looks like he's ahead of Bolton and he could even end up being ahead of Castagna. Only needs a few games of scoring in the 60's to make a good 120k.

Generally to generate cash you have to part with a cash generator at some point, hard as it can be.
He does now pretty much come close to meeting all the 3 optimum requirements to move on, but of course that doesn't mean you have to trade him this week, nor does it mean that there's not a few more bucks left to squeeze out of this fine young rookie, but Sisyphus says...

Just had a quick look at Sheed's game (through stats); had 27 @ 70%, 6 marks, 7 I50s, 4 Clearances... Albeit he had 3 clangers and potentially all possessions were short (and possibly had nil effect on the game with Port smashing them..) that seems closer to an 80 or 90 game right? Just weighing up whether he gets burnt this week or not...

alright Darling to Daniels it is. He would need to bang out a couple 100 in a row for it to backfire

Then T Kelly in next week depending on how he goes against west coast.

Plenty of 'low' draft picks have been fantasy studs, wouldn't be using draft hierarchy as an indicator on JS or fantasy scoring.

Hi guys,

Please take a look at my attachment and give me some advice on what to do this week.

Is it worth trading in Hore for Collins to generate some more cash along with say Baker for Parker?

Or am I better off getting rid of Bailey Scott and bringing in Treloar and then say Parker to Baker?

I have $381k in the bank.
