This is my current team:

Def: Whitfield, Stewart, Sicily, Smith, Williams, Hore (Wilkie, Answerth)
Mid: Cripps, Oliver, Macrae, Merrett, Coniglio, Libba, Walsh, Stack (Duursma, Stocker, Scott)
Ruc: Grundy, Goldy (Bines)
Fwd: Telly, Danger, Heeney, Baker, Balta, Corbett (Drew, Parker)

16 trades and 273k in the bank.

Now I'm pretty sure my forward line is where I should be focusing my attention. Not really loving any of the options I've got at the moment but thinking I might have to concede and bring Boak. I think this is going to be as cheap as Lloyd and Hurn get this year, and for that reason I might miss them both and try and get in Blakely instead.

Does anyone have any different opinions to that? Is there someone else I should be looking at for my forwards?

Am I stupid for entertaining the idea of drafting in Jeremy Cameron ?
I currently plan on getting him in two weeks (not the best week mind you as he has Talia), he has a good bye for a forward with nearly everyone playing the other two weeks. My main concern is related to his body but he's reportedly in his best condition for years.

I’m rating him more as a 100-105 avg but with a big injury risk, so maybe PIT90-95....? I probably wouldn’t get him if I rated his scoring upside as only 90-95
Note that Freako said he played almost exclusively as a defender against Essendon on the Phantom's podcast. He has only shown a genuine and consistent ability to score well as a defender in his last 4 games of 2017 (2018 prospectus), earlier that year he spent as a midfielder, and all of last season except his final two games (when he scored well as a mid) he spent as a defender. I think a move to the midfield is certainly on the cards but I think he's a risk as a scorer until such a move.

If he moves into the middle I'll be looking to get him in.

Depends on league vs overall, but I think your mids need a bit of love as well.
With the 273k I'd be looking to double upgrade this week (due to a lack of must-have rookies on the bubble).

Baker/Drew and Walsh +273k = 1025k roughly to spend on a mid and forward.

With so few trades remaining, you need to get a few 'value' picks in, so in my mind it rules out blokes like Neale at this stage.

Forwards I'd be considering:
Billings/Walters/Daniel all around the 460-480k mark, averaging 95ish
OR
Take a punt on Ziebell who has been dominating (105avg) the last few since moving to the mids (460k) or a possibly back and fit Toby Greene bargain at (360k)?

Heaps of value in the forwards coming up (might have to wait for high BEs or keep an eye out for a sneaky role change etc)
- Gunston
- TJ Lynch
- Greene
- R Gray
- McLean
- Menegola
- Westhoff
- Buddy
- Wingard

A lot of which were earmarked as top forwards in 2019 but have started poorly for various reasons...

Good luck regardless!

5th or 6th poster who has mentioned TJ Lynch since I raised him on the weekend , must be a sign to get him in my team.

with Smith gone, Robbie, Mr Clean and Menegola are suddenly looking like decent M9/F7 options if they can regain their form

My team - 65k and 18 trades left.
Hurn, Whitfield, Lloyd, Williams, Moore, Hore (Answerth, Duursma)
Kelly, Cripps, Oliver, MCrouch, Steele, Stack, Walsh, Drew (Hayes, Scott, Stocker)
Gawn, Grundy (ROB)
Kelly, Heeney, Daniel, Danger, Marshall, Baker (Balta, Bines)

I need more Round 12 players - my bye structure sits at 6/12/12- with the premo breakdown 3/8/5.

I'm thinking ROB and Stack to Young and Macrae makes a lot of sense for me this week - ranked 6.4k and tracking well rookies wise. Would love some thoughts though!

He plays Gold Coast next week so you may be a week too late.

G’day all.

Does anybody believe Marshall can average 95-105 from here onwards? Has the port duo, Goldstein & Witts coming up in the next month but doesn’t really rely on HO’s.

My team looks like:

Hurn, Lloyd, Whitfield, Williams, Smith & Hore (Wilkie, Burgess)

Cripps, Fyfe, Macrae, Merrett, M.Crouch, Constable, Duursma & Lockhart (Hayes, Answerth, Scott)

Grundy & Gawn (O’brien)

T.Kelly, Dunkley, Cameron, Dangerfied, D.Moore & Larkey (Parker, Bines)

Have 139k + 19 trades - was originally thinking Parker to Young & Wilkie to Marshall (via Answerth) but could do Parker to Young Wilkie to Boak/Billings/Sloane/Player under 578k?

I'd like to see another decent game or two before I took the punt, but I'd say there are worse options out there!
3 goals for 40 sc on the weekend wasn't ideal though. Might be a good one to get after his bye, though @297k it's a 30k profit if you trade from Baker!

Has there been any update on Sauce's return - listed as 1 week?

I would hold him if I thought he'd play Rd 13 to cover Grundy/Gawn and earn an extra 30k but, if Sauce is back before then I think I'll cash him in.

I'm planning on Sauce returning next week & needing to turn ROB to Gawn then.

no mention about Sauce today on the radio I have been listening too , more about whether Douglas , JJ & Seedsman will return , questions on Smith and Milera returning the following week.

Gibbons to Lynch might be fairly close , think I would prefer the security of Darling/Lynch/Westhoff at F5-F7 for the run home over a rookie , certainly food for thought.

Need to fix up a few onfield issues first though.

Thanks for that , I don't mind Blakely , was in my thinking pre-season.

Next 3 upgrades I need to do are :-

Moore (Duursma) - >
Constable - > M Crouch
ROB - > Nic Nat

Walsh may stay at M8 for the duration.

Then if my bench can make any money will look at fixing Kennedy , Westhoff & Darling.

That's the plan
Please don't buy Nic Nat. I recall Adam Simpson saying something like 65% TOG when he comes back in. Simply won't score enough points to beat Grawndy.

Wanting to get Lloyd in this week and need a rookie.

As Hately doesn't seem to have any js whatsoever and the back rookies are a hodge podge of unknowns, it comes down to: Ham or Wills?

Anyone care to give their opinion?
