Not sure about the love for Tom Lynch, he's very cheap but there's good reason for that with just 1 good score of 103 coming on the back of 6 goals. He has 6 scores under 70 and 2 scores just above (70 and 74). His disposal count is dismal with just 3 games of 10+. Having said that, he is doing exactly what Richmond need him to do without Riewoldt, kicking 2.5 goals a game.

R.Gray, Gunston, Cameron, Ceglar would be other options instead of Lynch at a slightly higher price. Even Jamie Cripps has had a good season apart from 2 games (role change?)

might be back to the drawing board then , will have to beat Grawndy a different way ?
I'm running in the top 5k without Gawn (90%) and Grundy (97%) by running ROB on field and using the cash elsewhere. I'll run Fort on ground in two weeks if he's a selected bubble boy. It's really about using the higher ruck rookie scores over other rookies to give an advantage. Once teams are complete, you need your pods to be elsewhere because the gap too #3 ruck is to great. If you are looking for something left field this week (lets be honest you always are) #Trengove. Good till English comes back I reckon, could make $100k without too much trouble.

Wanting to get Lloyd in this week and need a rookie.

As Hately doesn't seem to have any js whatsoever and the back rookies are a hodge podge of unknowns, it comes down to: Ham or Wills?

Anyone care to give their opinion?
Just going early on the brisbane one because it suits my byes better... might not even do that and just save the trade, and do the single upgrade with cash in hand...

You need a forward. ROB to Fort maybe and Petrucelle to someone.
Thanks for the feedback.
I always try complete my mids first as they tend to score highest, but you're right in that my FWD line is the weakest link.
Perhaps if i went ROB to Fort as suggested, keep Bines benched in the FWD line, then maybe Stack to Mundy which opens up the MID/FWD link...

Not sure Fort can be trusted.

wow that is damn impressive congratulations

how many of Hurn , Lloyd , Whitfield do you have ?

I have Mummy , ROB , Bines may well be case of monitoring how Soldo goes again this week (if he gets off).

Totally agree with you about the Rucks and the gap between 1&2 and 3 , I doubt I can get even one of them without compromising my other upgrades.

A left field selections who me hahaha , I was on Weller watch last week but didn't really impressed me , Trengrove mmmm interesting.

Problem is I only have $ 10 k to play with and not confident on the 1 game rookies to downgrade to although I may just need to check Cripps BE and expected price drop.

Thanks for the thoughts

I'm definitely considering. Opens a link with Answerth that I don't have and would allow me not to field Answerth this week when/if Williams misses.
Answerth might be close to vanishing as well.

Weller seemed to be HBF sneaked into a few CBA from memory too.

I need to go down to go up this week so may just sit , been burning trades.

I'm all for burning trades. Will be one of the founding members of the no trades club this year unless things change a lot.

Jack Riewoldt 2018: after scores of 3, 35, 77,77 he fell to $325k in round 13. post bye, he averaged 113 and ended the year at 578k. its these values picks that can make or break a season. now if only we can identify which one is the 2019 version.

Lynch? McLean? Darling? Hoff? all sound yuk on first look, but I would back at least 1 of these to mean revert, now someone get out their crystal ball please and tell me which one!

we will all look back and say why did i trade in Boak/Hurn etc at thier highest price for hte year when opportunity was staring my straight in the face. My pick is either Lynch or McLean. with little confidence i am targeting Mclean after his bye as he should be around 380k.

If you had the choice of your 8 best midfielders to finish of with who would they be in order if possible????????

Neale, Macrae, Fyfe, Cripps, Kelly, Merrett, Oliver, Treloar
I think depending on when you do your final mid upgrade you will probably find there's a more left field option that ends up being a top 8 scorer for the second part of the year.

For example if you brought someone like Dusty in in round 14 he might average 120 for the last 10 rounds and be in the top 8 mids for those 10 rounds but might not be in the top 8 for the whole season. (I'm also trying to talk myself into getting Dusty this week so take from that what you will )

FWIW I think Fyfe will probably miss at least another game or 2 before the end of the year so that might mean he makes the top 8 on average but not on aggregate (Kelly too)

What I think:
Neale, Cripps, Jelly, Macrae, Fyfe, Oliver, Zerrett & Sloane.
Vs
What I'll have to settle with:
Neale, Cripps, Jelly, Macrae, Fyfe, Oliver, Rocky & Brouch.

6/8 ain't bad.

Currently have L Neale, N Fyfe, J Kelly, C Oliver, Z Merrett and R Sloane and intend on grabbing Macrae and Cripps replacing S Walsh and C Constable for my M7 and M8 over the next month with J Macrae likely to be selected this week.

In regards to your question:
L Neale, J Macrae, P Cripps, J Kelly, N Fyfe, C Oliver, E Yeo and Z Merrett.
