Should I trade Williams to Lloyd?
Need to keep rank not so worried about leagues
I feel like they may let Williams have a couple weeks break
What does the rest of your team look like as this will help us to suggest recommendations or options for trades this round.

Kills my bye structured adding another rd.12 forward rookie (without replacing one via Drew) and rd.13 defender is the issue though.

I did consider that but think Stewart is better value than Hurn at 80k cheaper. Kind of not wanting to bring either in though because of bye structure. Preferably would like to do Walsh to Neale which does help byes and scoring but doesn’t sort out my defensive issues atm.

If Hately named an option could be:
Out: L Baker, W Drew
In: J Hately (via W Drew), R Laird/T Stewart/etc (via D Moore)

Williams is too injury prone to hang on to in my opinion and could end up missing up to 3 and then he has a bye so I think he’s worth trading. Was gonna trade Walsh this week but I’ll hold on to him and trade Williams instead and hold Walsh through to his bye. With Walsh’s fixture there should only be 10-15 between their scores anyway.

But who to?

Lloyd, Hurn, Stewart all have shocking byes.

Laird I guess is an option but feels underwhelming of late still priced higher than Stewart.

It’s not ideal though because I thought I would have 18 trades and 5 upgrades to make after this week, instead I have 18 trades and 6 upgrades to make, albeit with an extra 77k. With who I’m likely to get as a final mid though and the fact Walsh could average within 10 points of Williams from here makes me think it’s worth a trade even if it costs me getting to full premium (which I should still get to with 6 trades left without injuries)

Thanks for that , I don't mind Blakely , was in my thinking pre-season.

Next 3 upgrades I need to do are :-

Moore (Duursma) - >
Constable - > M Crouch
ROB - > Nic Nat

Walsh may stay at M8 for the duration.

Then if my bench can make any money will look at fixing Kennedy , Westhoff & Darling.

That's the plan
Please don't buy Nic Nat. I recall Adam Simpson saying something like 65% TOG when he comes back in. Simply won't score enough points to beat Grawndy.
Scoring is not the problem for Nic Nat... On return from his first knee reco last season he avg'd 100.5 in his 14 games excluding the RD 17 game in which he did his other knee. That was done from an avg of 60% game time per match... I don't know any other player in the comp with the potential to score like he does.

Nic's problem will be staying on the park. He also did get 1 rest in RD 8 last season.

As tempting as Nic Nat is, I'd be chasing whichever of Grundy or Gawn you don't have.

I started with Ryder last year, copped the Round 1 injury and traded him to Nic Nat.... Then through my mismanagement of trades, lol... I ended up copping 6 donuts in the ruck for the year as I couldn't trade Nic out again. Ruined the year.

I definitely wouldn't be paying $524,400 for him.

Moore out hurts, I'll probably have to keep Collins now if I want to get rid of Moore due to a lack of DPP's on other lines (I don't really want to make two trades in defense). Expecting Danger could still miss, which would really screw my team up further, as I need to get rid of dud rookies, such as Parker too.

...I'll have to wait until I see the teams I guess.

I think I read somewhere that Collins is injured too.

1 up 1 down for me this week. Zac Williams out means I will hold him.

Out : O’Brien and Parker
In: Stewart and Robbie Young via Setterfield mid to fwd and Answerth def to mid

I don’t like going early on a rookie but Young looked ok and is a mature age player.

Tossed up trading out Gibbons and Wilkie but with the byes in mind and Parker’s BE of 90 I think this is the best option. Opens up Duursma and Anseworth switch next week for Atley if he can keep his job. O’Brien May make another $17k but trading him out this week makes it easier to bring Fort in if he gets a run.

Looks like Rotham may get a game this week but I don’t like his JS especially heading into the byes and Jetta back next week.

Just my moves and 2 cents prior to teams being named.

The SUNS will be forced to make at least one change for this weekend’s Sir Doug Nicholls clash against Geelong.

After Sam Collins was ruled out with a hip injury for the next six weeks, Gold Coast’s match committee will be looking to the club’s key position stocks for a replacement.

READ: Alpha Sport Injury Update: Round 10

Jack Leslie will be in contention to play his first game of the year as the club’s most direct replacement for Collins.

Other options are swingman Chris Burgesswho hasn’t played an AFL match since Round 5, or Sam Day who has been impressing in the forward line in the NEAFL but has played as a key defender in the past.

George Horlin-Smith travelled to Adelaide as an emergency and will be in contention once again to return to the side.

Will Brodie was also an emergency for the match and could provide more inside midfield grunt if the match committee decide to make multiple changes.

Who do you think is in the mix?
