Yeah, I just sold Heeney, pre his last good score. I sold on the basis of not enough CBA attendances (there is some good stats in the midfielders discussion thread) and potential LT injury issues — reportedly doing the buddy thing where you only train for 30 minutes a week tops. I'm disappointed at missing the score on the w/e and didn't see him play, but still comfortable with the choice to offload atm. Back to back tonnes will have me questioning my decision though...
Buddy confirned playing this week could initiate that back to back tonnes!

Trades done:
Drew > Billings
Walsh > Sloane

Team for this round:

D: Whitfield, Stewart, Sicily, Smith, Hore, Duursma/Wilkie (Williams, Duursma/Wilkie)
M: Cripps, Macrae, Merrett, Sloane, Oliver, Coniglio, Libba, Stack (Answerth, Stocker, Scott)
R: Grundy, Goldy (Bines)
F: Telly, Heeney, Billings, Baker, Balta, Corbett (Danger, Parker)

There's nothing wrong with that forward line, right.? RIGHT?!?!

Out: Moore + Drew
In: Stewart + Young

Will move Drew -> Hately pending on his selection otherwise going a week early on R.Young named on field for Saints.

Team is set for 3 0’s on the mid bench and fielding Baker, Balta + Setterfield/Young is never good.

Do get the loop of Clark into Answerth via Williams though.

Crouch needs to be back next week.

Whitfield and Weller are likely locked in for me right now. The DPP Weller offers with Answerth too hard to pass up and it means I can finally toss Gibbons.

Hurn, Whitfield, Williams, hore, duursma, Lockhart (answerth, butts)
Macrae, Oliver, Fyfe, Kelly, Cripps, Rockliff, Walsh, stack (Scott, Hayes, stocker)
Gawn, Grundy (bines)
Danger, Kelly, Walters, Boak, Heeney, Moore (balta, setterfield)

With 107k in the bank

Not sure on which trade to make, probably trading out Williams and either Moore or Walsh
And maybe bringing in Lloyd and Billings or worpel or bachar Houli

Thoughts on trades will be greatly appreciated

Is Rupert Wills worth a buy? What’s his JS like? Named in the ruck line again..

Great bye structure with Rd.13 mid for me as well..but is he going to play through the other two bye weeks especially Rd.12 is the big question..

wow what a round...i feel like this is the second week of the byes for me. last week i played with 1 donut and i am hoping to avoid playing another donut.

so far i have mcrouch, zwilliams, b scott, w drew, jack ross, d moore and etc all out. the section of my team that hurts the most is my mids. its fantastic that burger man is available however i prefer to avoid him at all costs if i have choice.

i was thinking of bringing in neale or whitfield if only dpp permits.

please provide your recommendations. i am open to any suggestion.

d: zwilliams, laird, lloyd, b smith, duursma, clark, answerth, burgess

m: cripps, fyfe, oliver, macrae, mcrouch, walsh, drew, hayes, danger, ross, scott

r: gawn, grundy, obrien

f: kelly, heeney, boak, balta, parker larkey, moore bines

thanks everyone

De goey and Adams coming in as early as next week.

I need a downgrade and 50/50 if I will go Rupert.

Moore down to Young if you want to use the cash to get to a premium. Waiting is the other option. No sure we will have more than 2 rookies on the bubble next week. Fort could be one. Hinge?

Think your midfield is starting to look thin. Stocker on extended bench, Scott nowhere to be seen and Hayes could be out for some time.

Fwd line deep. Def not deep with Answerth although Butts give an option of upgrading Setters to Lloyd.

Drew and Ross are the obvious outs, even if Ross has a lot of mooing ahead of him if he gets back into the team post-injury. You can flick Answerth into the mids via trading in Hinge trading out Drew/Ross and upgrade the leftover player to help cover some of your missing starters.

An option could be:
Out: W Hayes and D Moore
In: J Lloyd (via N Answerth) and R Young

Decided that I will probably trade

Out: Williams and Moore
In: Lloyd and worpel

Thoughts on worpel, priced reasonably low and hopefully an average 100 from here on?

Thoughts on Moore and Williams for Stewart and Ellis? Ellis has been scoring well. Seems to have the faith back from hardwick. Playing wing now?

Would mean I'd have a backline of Lloyd Whitfield Laird Stewart Ellis and Duursma for the round.

I reckon hoping Worpel goes 100 from here on is being a tad optimistic. I probably prefer Connoisseur's option above.

Having said that Williams is a real tough one: given your overall position I would be prone to trade him to keep on pace. Gonna suck though if he's back in a week and crushing it as he has been this season.
