Out Grundy, Jelwood, Atkins
In Bont, Boak, Walters
Hoff to R2. Hoping Ho*** scoring rises when Dixon comes back this week or next. Have 3 defensive upgrades in Whitfield, Lloyd and Hurn, happy to wait. A couple of mids, forwards now complete. Could get Grundy back via rookie downgrades. Very risky, we'll see how the week pans out.

I read your commends just to confirm that wasn't a typo... Out Grundy... I'm gunna bring him in next week....may hit his BE vs English... It is a way to distribute a bunch of cash of the ground this week, though I wouldn't do it... I don't have the trades left for that kind of shenanigans.

Double down, Atkins + Answerth out. Bewley and Gardiner in. Bank $646k.

Gives 19 plus a chance at Zac Clarke and Dylan Moore getting named. Assumes Rocky/Setters/Garner/Bewley all named.

Wow... That's some bold moves.

Out: Smith, Stack & Larkey
In: Fyfe, Boak & Bewley

11k leftover.

Gives me 19 players but that's only assuming Rocky comes back and Young isn't dropped.
Starting go rethink this plan. Getting Boak pushes Hoff to F7 but leaves Hore at D5 & Duursma at D6 post byes.

Looking at Luke Ryan in defence so will have to miss out on one of Fyfe/Boak. Could push Worpel to be my M8 for awhile if I get Boak.

I'm rolling with Duursma/Hore for a few rounds at least, so you wouldn't be alone there. Duursma will go eventually but Hore to me is a potential keeper.

Any love for Naish? Looks like a decent downgrade option if he keeps his spot. Job security looks sceptical, though I was impressed with his debut. Think he plays this week, though whether he plays enough to make cash is up for debate.
I think stack baker and Ross js was all sceptical when they were on the bubble or close to it. They all turned out to be ok rookies and got games. Dimma loves playing the kids and you can see they have a lot of belief

Balta => Boak
Clark => Sicily

will bring Grundy back in when he drops in $$. Call me crazy!?

This trading Grundy is really ballsy and interesting especially this late in the season. Only need a couple of injuries and suspensions to throw the best laid plans out the door. Add to this we are all probably down to 14 or less trades with many probably wanting to bring in Whitfield and/or Hurn to complete defence.......All the best.

good point - i have 20 trades left........jokes but a friend of mine does and he has less upgrading to do than me.

i'm conscious of cash generation without adding suspect rookies to my list that will sit there until seasons end, e.g. Bewley.

may pull out of it but need to do something 'clever'!

Mumford - > M Crouch via Westhoff & Setterfield which hopefully ultimately ends in Walsh - > Grundy in 2-3 weeks

It's fascinating to read that we have representation for both the Grundy IN & Grundy OUT camp. I guess it's one of those 'glass half full/empty' kind of moment depending on each coach's situation, needs and requirements at this present time.

Truth be told, I admit to having thought about it after the Jacob's injury...but it was only a passing thought as the scar of pulling this exact move last season is still too raw for me!

What do we think of Freo's Griffin Logue vs Naish?

Logue seems the logical replacement for Pearce but scoring potential from what I understand is questionable, and $40K more expensive.
Naish seems the opposite - good scoring potential but JS is questionable.

Who you bring in will probably stay at D7/D8 for the year. Tough call to make especially off limited data points.

Hore stays for me now, suspect I hold as Whitfield cover for the next month.

Mayne, Moore and probably Answerth to Gray, Clarke and a final defensive upgrade (from the value side of things.)

If I can pocket about 50k I'm well on the way to getting Oliver next week. Maybe Oliver and Brayshaw if I feel like going all in on a Melbourne run in the 2nd half of the year.

Going to be a lot of numbers to do over the next couple of days.

Great minds - I was thinking of Mummy to a forward or mid via Hoff (and maybe Heeney) given Mummy’s high BE and terrible recent scores. At least Grundy went low, so he will be a bit cheaper, but the cash gap will still be substantial.

I see Hinkley is disinclined to rush Dixon et al back ... hopefully post byes.
