The 1st half of Arrested Development Season 5 has recently been released on Netflix.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367279/?ref_=ttep_ep_tt
IMDB Synopsis: “Level-headed son Michael Bluth takes over family affairs after his father is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family are making his job unbearable.”

Features a main cast consisting of Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Tony Hale, Jeffrey Tambor, Will Arnett and Jessica Walter with Ron Howard as narrator and recurring/guest roles for Henry Winkler, Liza Minnelli, Jeff Garlin, Ben Stiller, Isla Fisher, Ed Begley Jr and Julia Louis-Dreyfus to name a few.

Quality has started to diminish over the past 2 and a bit seasons but I’d strongly recommend viewing of Season 1 and Season 2 which received critical acclaim.

Flicking around on Netflix and remembered/noticed that Stranger Things Season 3 will be released this Thursday.

Will have to try to re-watch Season 1 and Season 2 before then.

I think it mght be Friday for us as The US are a day behind us. Normally around 5pm Friday. Can't wait for season 3 though! I actually met the actress that plays Eleven in April at Melbourne Supanova and was shocked to find out that she was British, brilliant actress for her age.

Congrats. Also wasn't aware of the fact regarding her nationality until you mentioned it.

I think this was the 1st full series I watched from Netflix and hopefully will be able to catch up in time before the release. Like the premise and enjoy the constant 80's Sci-Fi references.

Apologies connoisseur, it appears I seem to be wrong as the episodes are available now on netflix and not 5pm as I mentioned before. I've got a day off work and will start bingeing it all today hopefully :D

@Tamuhawk have you managed to watch season 3 yet?

Luckily I was able to fit in all of Season 1 and Season 2 before the release of Season 3 and have completed Season 3 as of last weekend.

HOLD THE DARK on Netflix was a pretty interesting dark drama/thriller.

I finished it all in one day (the Friday) haha. Great season, I loved it. Spoiler with no context "The American" is definitely you know who.

Anyone watch Australian Survivor?
Simon Black (Champion) vs Shaun Hampson (Contender) on it this year.
Not yet but may flick over eventually. Usually one of those shows where I'll watch a bit of the premiere and the finale with nothing in between. I think the last time I watched the majority of a Survivor season was Russell's 1st appearance.

Only shows nowadays I try to watch regularly on free to air are Have You Been Paying Attention (Ten), 8 out of 10 cats does countdown (SBS 2/Viceland) and X-Files (SBS 2/Viceland).

I'm a survivor superfan lol. And yep I definitely remember Russell's first season... Just a pity he didn't win it due to the bitter jury. Clearly the best player that season.

Edit: Have seen every US season, aussie season and a few NZ ones.

Love Survivor. Wondering how the former Blue and Tiger isn't on the Champions tribe given he landed Megan Gale.
Also a serious lack of air time last night for the big fella, except when his tribe could barely get him up the wall.

Surprised he wasn't on the champions team either. That probably means he won't get far in the game, according to the so called "winner's edit". But having 24 players means hard to get air time.

Would greatly appreciate thoughts on which series to view next as I'm currently in the process of completing the Batman TV series from the 60's but can't decide between Simpsons Seasons 1-9 or Curb Your Enthusiasm Seasons 1-9 as my next series to complete.

Have seen those Simpsons episodes countless times in comparison to only seeing parts of Curb (seen most of Season 3-5 and 8-9 but not the rest) and thoroughly enjoy both shows.

Watched most of last season and have been converted. Looking forward to how this season pans out.

Geeze Simon Black getting out wrestled in that first rewards game by that miner bum with the mullet was embarrassing given Simon’s background.
I loved all of last season up until the finale. No disrespect to Shane Gould but Sharn should have won IMO. Just wish she never got duped by Benji, that's probably what cost her the title of sole survivor.

Yeah was annoying see Shane Gould win it. The Aboriginal lady ex hockeyroo/politician seems to be in the Shane Gould mould the way I have seen her playing the others. Reckon she’ll go far in this game, but hopefully the others work her out and get rid of her.

Yeah Nova seems to be like Shane. I'm not liking the look of that sporty 7 alliance at all. Love Luke but he won't win it being the only returning player, if only he waited for an all stars season. Bradbury playing a little too hard and could be like a Mat Rogers type and get blindsided. Only one ep so far so hope the alliance's shift a bit or it could be quite dull.

Yeah the sports alliance is a bit annoying, and can’t see it being split up unless they start pissing each other off. I thought ET striked me as the Matt Rogers type. They all seem to gravitate towards ET as the leader and consult him about ideas and who to vote out, as opposed to telling him what to do. Would love to see Bradbury do a Bradbury and wait for the favourites to crash out before emerging as the winner. I reckon he’s started off well by forming the alliance and then quickly fading back into the background as the grey man and a foot soldier.

Luke is bound to get booted early. Did he win it during the season he was on?
