Are you for real...
And that's only the US season too!

I believe the 39th season has already finished filming and will air in September... and next year we will finally get an ALL WINNERS season next year with season 40.... been waiting almost 2 decades for an all winners season!!!

Agree with this. I liked the recent idol twist (no spoiler!) and think this is quite creative, it will be interesting to see how it is used.

One o***et I meant to mention: some of the challenges are getting a lot more physical. I don’t remember so many challenges in seasons lag where you have people going head to head in what is essentially a wrestling match. Someone actually got pretty badly injured last year, so there needs to be some sort of limit, but I think it definitely makes the game more challenging for the contestants.
Yeah definitely agree with this.

Challenges are wayyy too physical, especially with the Australian series. US ones have a balance and they switch it up every now and then so that it's not always the physical buff guys winning everything.

Also I've noticed that Andy has put up his hand for most of the important part of the challenges... which could be detrimental to his game after saying he wants to slide under the radar a bit. That's the superfan in him coming out for sure... but could start end up being considered a challenge/puzzle beast at the merge.

Ah yes - re the physicality, I was actually referring to the level of physical contact between competing teams, although I agree that there’s a bit much focus on the physical side in the early challenges.

That’s an interesting call re Andy ... they showed him practicing his throwing before the series started and it’s already been a useful skill a couple of times. I suspect there’s a strong temptation to make use of that skill when the time comes, especially if you’ve been prepping for it (!), but it is possible he gives himself away a bit/drawing attention to himself.

The first few seasons were good.
Last season was a bit disappointing.
I'm about 5 deep into this season, and it's a bit gappy and confusing.
I think it's run it's race, and it's a good thing this is the final season!

Lol that is such a girly show, cant watch that crap. If you want a good womens prison show watch Wentworth its awsome.
Been trying to find Wentworth over here, but no one has picked it up yet.
I'm hoping they will eventually!

Finished it on Sunday and agree with your sentiments regarding the decreasing quality of the latter seasons. Also enjoyed seeing some of the characters from earlier seasons that didn’t feature in S6 receive short cameos in S7.

Apologies for those posts that I have deleted, however it was recommended that people don't spoil in this thread. (Couldn't move without them appearing above the banner/initial explanation post)

I've now created a separate thread where current TV/Series can be discussed without the fear of spoiling. https://supercoachscores.com/threads/tv-series-discussion-spoiler-central.4244/

This thread will remain as a recommendation type thread.

This should cater to both needs.

If anyone has NetFlix, watch ‘The Invisible Guest’

It’s in Spanish, just read the Subtitles and don’t watch the trailer.

You will not be disappointed ??

I’m not sure if it’s still on though

Ran out of things to watch, a friend recommended Justified. Into season 2 and it is pretty good. Winona (Natalie Zea) very easy on the eye!

I do not have a favourite as way too many of them that are great that literally had me in stitches at time of watching. Some I may not have seen for a decade. But most memorable tend to be with Susie going ape **** at Larry. The decapitated doll of her daughter one that comes to mind readily.
Just finished Seasons 1-8 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Thoroughly enjoyed the episodes I hadn't seen before in conjunction with some of my favourites. A superb main cast as well as some fantastic guest star/cameos/recurring roles such as Ted Danson, Wanda Sykes, Richard Kind, JB Smoove, Bob Einstein, Richard Lewis, Michael York, Don Stark, Paul Sand, Shaquille O'Neal, John McEnroe, Mel Brooks and the Seinfeld cast.

Top 10 episodes in no particular order would be:
1. The Doll (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0551408/?ref_=ttep_ep7)
2. The Nanny From Hell (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0551415/?ref_=ttep_ep4)
3. The Carpool Lane (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0551404/?ref_=ttep_ep6)
4. The Bare Midriff (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1515100/?ref_=ttep_ep6)
5. Palestinian Chicken (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1640882/?ref_=ttep_ep3)
6. The Black Swan (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1515101/?ref_=ttep_ep7)
7. Vehicular Fellatio (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1484411/?ref_=ttep_ep2)
8. The Grand Opening (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0551410/?ref_=ttep_ep10)
9. Krazee-Eyez Killa (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0551389/?ref_=ttep_ep8)
10. The Bowtie (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0551402/?ref_=ttep_ep2)

New to Netflix this week:
The Good Place (Season 4): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4955642/

Synopsis:
When Eleanor Shellstrop finds herself in the afterlife, she's both relieved and surprised that she's made it into the Good Place. But it doesn't take long for Eleanor to realize she's there by mistake. She hides in plain sight from the Good Place's architect, Michael, and his all-knowing assistant, Janet. Her seemingly perfect neighbors, Tahani and Jason, and open-hearted soul mate, Chidi, help her realize that it's never too late to change. With the help of her new friends -- and a few enemies -- Eleanor becomes determined to shed her old way of life in hopes of discovering a new one in the afterlife.

Starring Ted Danson and Kristen Bell and have seen S1-S3 and would highly recommend it.

Thanks for flagging @Connoisseur ... The Good Place is a terrific show, I also highly recommend it.
Fantastic 1st season largely thanks to the unexpected twist, but the quality has started to diminish recently but this is alleviated by the fourth season being the final one.

Ted Danson fan, primarily from his work on Cheers and appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm, which was one of the main enticing factors for watching the Good Place. Eventually have to catch the complete Becker series as I’ve only seen snippets in comparison to seeing the Cheers series multiple times.
