Props to the champions for being down 7-11 to now hold a 6-4 advantage. Lot of that is thanks to David and Luke. David is just playing an incredible game. It's just sadly he's too big of a threat and needs to go. If this was the US version, I rkn David would win it due to less competitors. The Australian version has too many players (albeit only 4 to 6 extra). Gameplay suits more to someone who stays under the radar and then strikes/makes big moves at the merge.

At the moment though those 3 champion women are clearly in control of the game, just wish someone makes a move on them before they whittle down to 6 which by then it'll be too late. Abbey is too emotional to win it. Janine is the biggest threat of the 3... so she is the perfect shield for Pia. Pia ftw. I'm hoping I'm wrong though and something else happens which will make it more interesting to watch.
I think you’re bang on re David and Luke. It’s a credit to the two of them, as well as highlighting how poorly organized the contenders have been. Amazing to think they’ve lost 7 of the last 8, a number of them by their own volition!

Daisy made a comment on her Instagram:
"Always stay on the right side of the vote" in regards to her voting Shaun.
Technically she has never been on the wrong side of the vote (from what I can rmb) so she can always use that to win a few juror votes should she make final 2.
It’s an interesting point. Personally I see it as a weak move, not even trying to fight ... she sat there looking helpless for much of the episode, then voted out her closest ally.

I would not respect that if I was a juror, I’d just see it as being pushed around by a stronger team. I’d only see value in staying on the right side of the vote if it’s because you influenced it - as opposed to falling in line once you knew you’d missed the opportunity. I think it’s only two episodes ago that she and Shaun were talked about as a power couple ... looks like they might not have been either part of that!

Champions vs Contenders no more. There's no way Luke stays champion strong after that and now that Luke's shield (David) has gone, I think if he doesn't win immunity tmr, it'll be his last episode.

Yeah, Luke isn't lasting long.

Kind of boring episode, they made it clear David was getting idoled out all episode. I prefer the blindsides that come as at least some surprise to the viewers, not just the contestants - they don't seem to do that any more though, any "blindside" takes up at least half an episode like tonight.

I know what you mean, I’d prefer to sometimes be surprised as well. I think Nova was one of those, don’t think there was any indication she’d go.

They tried their best to doubt the viewers (not really lol) when they edited Daisy going off to speak to Luke and not show any of it haha. Worst edit ever.

Australian version too many promos going on and yeah we get spoilt easily. While with the US version we don't get as many promos which is good.

I wonder when Simon Black starts to make his move, or at least gets more airtime. It looks like The Godmother and Pia are tight, with Abby making the 3rd of the group. Blacky is the fourth in line of the Champian alliance and he must realise the Luke may flip after last night.

What is Blacky's best line of attack? Stick with the girls for longer? Maybe partner up with Luke and try to form a new alliance with a contender or two? Or maybe he thinks if he can get down to the last 4 or 5; pick off the other males and be the last male standing; and then back himself to win the last few Immunity challenges which tend to be endurance mind over matter events against the girls.

Based on his edit, he doesn't win. If he features heavily in an episode you'll know that's when he's gone. It sucks, but looks like they decided he's not a key player and didn't give him a strong edit.

I think he would need to stay close to the girls, as it seems one of them is winning (likely Pia, maybe Janine). Guessing they vote him out at some stage, I'm thinking it's at least a few episodes away.

Luke is pretty clearly gone this episode based on the preview. It's a "big name" player and they show what sounds like the post-tribal statement from Jonathan - I am fairly sure they show all the others they hint may be gone in that bit but not Luke. More than happy to be wrong.

think it is far to obvious if Luke goes home tonight

think it is time some of the players started using their brains (or maybe they have been outside of what we see on TV) and voted out the Puppeteer or Puppet before it is too late.

Interesting night

I think @Ironhawk is right. Blacky's lack of screen time means he doesn't win it. His best play is probably his only play and staying champion strong and win the last few immunites. Cannot see him beating any of the remaining players so he could be the goat and make final 2 but 0 chance of winning. Being that he's an honourable person, in the game of survivor, that isn't enough to win it. A bit like Ken from Gen X vs Gen Y US season.

I think the latter part is probably both his plan and his best plan.

He’s shown very little in terms of strategic gameplay, and hasn’t been anywhere near as good at most of the challenges as I would have thought (I actually wondered if he was sick at one point), so he hasn’t shown a lot to indicate he can win from here.

I think the issue is probably that he’s a very good bloke in real life, and doesn’t really want to lie, cheat etc to progress in the game any more than necessary. He’s probably been lucky that the girls, Dave and Luke have been as dominant as they have. They’ll probably gun for him at the end though, so he likely needs an immunity run to win it.
