I can have 2-3 $ 42k players on bench , hoping Fraser-McGurk & Sutherland are at least both named in the Squad today.

Bypassing Green.

Most teams I have seen have Ellis starting , no idea on his scoring ability or JS though.

Looks like Wright is in a battle with Jewell for the final batting spot.

So there's some validity to your question...

I can't recall if it was he or Inglis that opened in their last game last season against the Strikers and did well.

Pretty sure his keeping days are over , but a few sites have him and /or Paris starting ahead of Green.

Thought he was spoken about for Australian honours , but maybe by memory is hazy on that one.

Bottom line is , looks like they have 4 options to open with.
