4 Sixers and 4 Heat players to come.

Sams serviceable as my Captain, I'm generally happy enough to see my Captain score 100+ during their DG. Obviously, there's always players within my team that scores more, but if one can consistently have their Captain amongst their top 3 scorers in their team, then it will lead to a productive season.

Just waiting on confirmation for Wright/Ellis otherwise I may have to look at a restructure on my bat/bwl bench with Livingston already occupying 1 spot and taking up $125k of my salary which may compromise my choices in the end if the Hurricanes XI is not to my favour.

I often compared this game to being on a big roller coaster ride, you got to learn how to hold your breath on the way down and exhale during the upward ride. The Thunder (being the first team to have played twice) is a classic example of this roller coaster ride. Make the final judgement of your progress at the end of the round would be my advice.

just frustration when players I never considered go 100+

oh well , 3 days of double headers to look forward to
This cannot be a shock Herbie, as an experienced Supercoach manager this was always on the cards. This is what spices
up the contest because NO ONE knows who's going to explode on the scene including the players and the random umpire
decisions and bounce of the ball only make it more of a lottery. Good planning, making coin off your bench and a few judicious trade
decisions including el capitano for the round will relieve that frustration you feel ( when your winning ).

True

wonder what a auto-select team would have done ?

see what tomorrow brings , then try & work out what trades to make , had a nice plan but now doubts on Morris , Steyn & the Scorchers form (1 game) has changed all that.

Will need to work it out quick smart though with the quick turnaround.

Need a big day tomorrow just to stay in touch by the look of things.

Sydney THUNDER DG RESULT

155 Nair $103,600
148 Green $140,600

132 Khawaja $198,500
128 Ferguson $134,600
128 Hales $125,000
116 Sams $170,200

You'll be pretty happy owning any 3 or 4 from the above options, just a matter of how much $$$ you invested. The Nair/Hales/Green trio looks to be the most 'value' buy costing only $369,200 for a combined 431 points (or 72 per player score involvement).

Some great scores about!

3/997 for me with Curran (C) to come as well. Pretty happy with the start after Khawaja and Nair put in great games. Much better start than last year when I butchered my side preparing for washouts :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I have Stanlake and Wright ATM. Can turn them into WAgar and Jewell if Wright doesn’t play but will have to make sure I can be around during the final teams.... will need to set an alarm for a preplanned toilet break

Just wanted to share with everyone the Importance of the coming weeks

season 2018
after round 1 I was ranked 8153, which after what I thought was a decent effort

two rounds later round 3 I was ranked 415th,

funny Thing is in round 2 and 3 I also average rounds where I was ranked 10k for the round

this Is mainly for the people who feel as though they are well below par atm, it may mean you have been preparing for coming rounds or just been unlucky

The nature of BBL scoring as well as the fixturing means so much can change in such a short time.

I remember in GW2 last year I decided to just take a shot on Tom Curran who'd just played his 1st BBL game ever and scored 11. He ended up scoring 200+ in his second game. One player can literally make a huge difference as people move away from their starting teams and even if you are ranked out past 2,000 after the first 5 GWs you are still a genuine chance to win some top 10 money.

Fantastic reminder! Further adding to this, it is worth remembering that last year's overall winner was roughly 8,000th after round 1 before taking home the $25,000. Trade smart and trust the process!

4/792 so a bit behind par for the week.

SOK (c), Curran, Phillipe, Henriques, Khan, Banton, Loughlin to come.

While i'm behind par, I have a total of 4 Strikers and Scorchers in my team, so I'm ahead of the curve in planning for Round 3.
