Glad to see Bird get a run, I really rate him.
Shame Starc draws the short straw again after a solid if not spectacular performance.
I would have liked to see a 4 man pace attack but with a dry wicket can see the logic in keeping Lyon.

Gee went to bed at about 12:00 last night when Pietersen was starting to get going and Coock about 40 off 150, thought it was going to be a long day for the Aussies. Very pleased to wake up and see the Poms 9 fa a 240 odd. And Lyon getting some wickets is a bonus.

Yep, Lyon should never have been dropped from the team imo.

Congrats to Chris 'Bucky' Rogers on his maiden test ton. Aussies not in a bad position considering we were 3-60 odd.

Finally getting the upper hand. Lets hope some wagging of tail can stretch the 1st innings lead we have. Since the poms were 2 for 150 odd on first day we have taken control for the most part. Bowled well as a group and one good batting partnership so far and kept scoreboard ticking has meant we are on top. Poms batted so slow they deserve to lose.

Absolutely!!! Loving it. His dodgy knee not going to stop him putting in full hearted effort. Deserves all the success that comes his way.
Reminds me a bit like Chappy with hair in SuperCoach. So long as Harris (and Chappy) on the ground, very good player!!

Bell gone for 113. New ball doing a fair bit early on day 4. Harris now has 4 fa, hopefully he adds a few more, and quickly!!
