They only need to score 75-80 in their DRG to beat the averages of the best SGR players though.

Not that I will be rushing to buy any , but 3-4 will still be worthy scorers next week.

So maybe they can get Starc as a LRP , but given Abbott is also due back would give them Abbott , Bird , Dwarshuis , Hazlewood & Starc to choose from which seems overkill.

At least they announce their Squad tomorrow so will find out if Curran is playing or not.

Hi mate

Just curious , do you know if OS players still have to play 1 game in the regular season to qualify for the finals ? (as has been the requirement in previous seasons)

Pattinson 1 , Me 0...left him on the bench so sadly missed out on this weeks ripper score :mad: and now he's also set me up perfectly to stitch me up with the double horrid DGR score...your prediction is so far right on the money and I'm paralysed with fear, what to do :sick:

Not so sure Stoinis really needs much of a rest after he's last effort or two (wishful thinking), but I reckon it would not be inconceivable for Maxwell to take a breather this week.

Thought i read an article about it but I couldn't find it, so maybe i heard it on the tv commentry, but i remember that Jordan was actually still available to play the last regular season game but they needed to play Morkel to qualify him. I remember it because I thought it was a bit odd, as at the time there was a real possibility that they may not of been able to make the top 5 come their last game if they had lost to the thunder and strikers, making it totally pointless.

That's been my understanding as well that they need to play at least one game in order to qualify.

Be curious to see what happens tomorrow with Curran & Lamichhane when the Squads are named.

The Stars have been talking to the PCB re Rauf coming back for finals , and Steyn could come back for the final if they make it as both of them are already qualified.
