My read is that they’ll take a very conservative approach, although personally I can’t see why this would affect his role.
There was some chat that someone else (was it Webster?) took it in his absence and would keep it, although Webster only averaged well from R6-10 (Roberton collapsed in R4 and Webster missed R5) before really tailing off. JLT will obviously be a guide, but I’d suggest Roberton has a better record in his role than Webster does, and he’s only 28.
On Doedee, if he averages 85 (first year average adjusted for injury game) he should taper towards $425k and get to $400k in reasonable time. Personally I think that’s enough at his price - and it doesn’t include any upside from him potentially having improved since his first year.
