In the event that the final is completely washed out or rain affected to such an extent that no clear top 3 in the ladder comp can be established (every chance I understand) then the prize winners of the ladder comp will be determined as follows.

In the true spirit of chance I will select a game at random from the 60 that have been played which will serve as the final for the big bash sweep. The home team of that game will serve as the Sydney Sixers and away team will serve as Melbourne Stars.

I will only conduct that draw once I have decided that the final has provided no clear top 3. Ultimately that will be a judgement call on my behalf however the principle I will apply will be that if any of the top 3 are level on points using the actual game scores because they have the identical scoring players then that means the game has provided no clear winner.

For the avoidance of doubt actual game scores will be included for the points comp. Therefore a total washout will mean the current standings are the final standings.

Didn’t have the time after the game last night however a few observations on current standings.

Points Comp

• We have a thriller in the points comp where it appears to be a race in 2 between Andrew Sp and James C. Currently Andrew leads by 64 points.
• Third place is still up for grabs with anybody down to about 7th or 8th is a theoretical chance to get on to the podium.
• However this all assumes that there is some type of game on tomorrow and that appears unlikely given the Sydney weather forecast.
• @toxic appears to have blown his money back chances and is now over 200 points ahead of last.

Ladder Comp

• The 16 finalists have now also been determined with 12 coming from ladder position 1 or 2, 1 coming from the position 3 (Melmo), 1 coming from position 4 (Tails) and 2 coming from the ladder position 5.
• Nooshin E and Blue Dreamer finished the round games in 35th and 36th respectively and have won all their finals game to make it to the last game.
• On the flipside their were 3 from ladder position 1 and 2 that went out in straight sets being Zoe C, James D and yours truly.
• There are 6 SCS participants who have made the final being @Tibor, Chanda Panda, Squizzy, @Melmo, @Tails and @blue dreamer.

Let’s hope we get the last game in tonight, especially when top 3 get paid and I’m sitting in 4th!

Just been in the city and it’s been bucketing down, but eased up now, so hopefully using up all that the clouds have to offer today.
