Which is why my score fell over a bit last night - I thought the Stars would chase 140 in a canter!
You did not have preview to this prior to committing to your selected players before the game. All we knew was that Sixers were batting first and that there was a slight risk of rain later.
Based on that, most coaches would've favoured Sixers BAT & Stars BWL for their remaining on-field spots. With Philippe taking up the WKP spot; Smith, Stoinis, Maxwell, Abbott, Rauf & Zampa would've formed the core of most teams. I went Henriques & NCN in lieu of Smith & Maxwell.
The other factor which would impact your overall score (in comparison to others) is to do with how successful you were at looping Hurricanes/Thunder players. Those that managed to snagged 2-4 successful loops means that their option for last night's game would be limited to maybe 5, whereas coaches who were less successful could chose say 7.
Those with 5 would more than likely have Smith, Stoinis, Maxwell, Rauf, Abbott/Zampa...just because they could and it looks nice.
Those with 7 (and more than likely with restricted funds) could've shopped around for a SOK, Lyon, Hazlewood instead.
