I’m with you on Dunkley. Wait & see.

What do you see Bont/Dunkley both avg in 2020?
TBH I think they’ll both go around 110-115. Bont I think one season will go 120+, this year could be the year with the Dogs potentially being involved in more close games as they push for top 4 (I reckon they will). Dunkley should go 110 too, I don’t think he’ll go 120-125 this year but he may go <110 if he gets pushed fwd.

Every 3rd day or so, I'm swapping players around in my team from my 'For Consideration' list and today I noticed that I have way too many Rd13 bye players. On closer inspection, I noticed that I have a lot of Bye13 Fremantle players, hmmm: DEFs L Ryan, S Hill, H Young, C Blakely, FWDs B Acres, S Stuart, M Walters and I haven't got Fyfe.

I like them all, any suggestions which ones I could/should omit from my list?

DEF (FRE) RYAN, Luke 1996 $520,400
…….His scores before his Rd19 injury included 131, 145 and 156. Could benefit from Fremantle’s friendly fixture...….

Def/Fwd (FRE) HILL, Stephen 1990 $190,600
2020 …….He’s got the biggest discount of any player from 2019...... only needs to score 50 or more to jump in value...…….

DEF (FRE) YOUNG, Hayden 2001 $180,300
.…...Young at Freo should slot straight in at half back. best of all he's an elite ball user, something that Freo need out of the back half and through the middle...…..

DEF (FRE) BLAKELY, Conner 1996 $411,500
2019 ...…... Blakely was average as a defender but scored 113, 96 and 103 in his 3 games in midfield...….
2020 ……...is training with the mids in preseason...……

Fwd/Mid (FRE) ACRES, Blake 1995 $384,400
2019 ........for 5 games he avg 106 SuperCoach points per game, playing as a pure wingman...….
2020 ...........new Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir wants him to play in the midfield...…...he should be permanently stationed on a wing, replacing the departed Bradley Hill and Ed Langdon...…….

FWD (FRE) STURT' Sam 2000 $123,900
2020 ……...FRE gave him time off last year to bulk up for this year. Arrived at FRE last year with plenty of hype...…..

F/M (FRE) WALTERS, Michael 1991 $547,200
2020 ……...The loss of pacy stars Bradley Hill and Ed Langdon means that Freo will be chasing clean ball users on the outside, which is an area where Walters can excel...…..

FYFE: I like Fyfe, but I just prefer other less injury prone Mid Guns.

Hill, Young and Sturt will hopefully be gone before the byes as cash cows. Walters is not really an outside player. I'd wait to see the game plan before picking Walters, Fyfe and Ryan. Blakely is the only one I'm keen on if the preseason games show he is part of the stoppages. Acres and Brayshaw are on my curious list.

Smith > Rowell > Roberton for me.

Smith has the runs on the board and being so much cheaper, probably him. Greenwood is one I am considering though.

McAsey being spoken about as if he will challenge Hartigan for the 2nd tall spot has some red flags for me. It's not unreasonable that the Crows go with McAsey as the 3rd tall at the expense of Doedee who is coming off an ACL. Wouldn't hurt to ease him back in through the SANFL for a few weeks.
To be fair my grandma could challenge Hartigan for that spot. 180k for a lockdown tall is a bit rich for me. If the cheap rookies don’t come up we probably have to consider him though.

mcasey isn't a lockdown tall his main strengths are intercepting and taking contested marks and played pretty well against Casey as well
I wonder if it impacts Doedee scoring ceiling?

Williamson/Stracevich hopefully will be named round 1 - both 140k

Pick one and why?
Dawson vs Houston vs Parish
Houston for me. Think he is likely to play mostly mids this season and should improve his 90 average.

Dawson averaged 94 post bye but I don't see this improving significantly. Expect similar at best.

Parish has increased his average by around 5 pts per season, averaged 85 last season, so will average 90 ish based on that.
