Dammit Maddinson just throw the bloody bat at it you nitwit it's not a bloody shield match. I don't think there's been a worse donut put up by anyone all season.

That's the thing I just don't understand about BBL - this clown in particular has been terrible all season and yet they still keep playing him instead of giving someone else a crack who might actually do something given the opportunity?
So who do you replace him with ?

Hinchliffe & Merlo were in the Squad tonight

Cartwright is injured
Coleman
Hussain
Morris
O'Connell

are all bowlers

still makes me worried how and why Pucovski is not on their list ?

Finished at 589, wanted to crack the 500 but last week stuffed it. Got 230 last year so I'm gonna keep having a crack.

There's absolutely no way I could have got to those rankings without the awesome info that's been provided on this site, so KUDOS to all involved.

Looking forward to the AFLSC and see if I can improve on last years ranking in that.

Cheers lads and laddettes, it's been a good ride.

Yeah i can definitely see where your coming from. I just think when they have the opportunity to guarantee the last game of the year is played it should be taken. And yeah obviously if thats the case with Marvel pitches being dug up, then you cant criticise them for not moving it.

And just saw your above post pop up re: clubs voted against neutral venue, I think it should be a fan driven thing rather than clubs. As cricket lovers we had this bastardised "product" forced upon us. And to be fair I have grown to like it since initial dismay. So lets not forget what gave birth to the BBL - getting punters hard earned. And to have followed a couple of months of it only for the final to be rained out kind of sucks. (and I get that rain is a part of cricket, but most Test series' aren't destroyed by one day of rain.

Ranting incoherently now, must be beer oclock :ROFLMAO:
All good , you make some good points.

I can't see the other clubs agreeing to lock the final in at Marvel every season , and give the Renegades a home ground advantage possibly.

Surely as a member paying your hard earned you would like to have the opportunity of watching your team play a final on its home ground , not all members/supporters would be able to afford to travel interstate .

Not sure what the answer is to be honest , based on crowd sizes in the TV last few weeks , CA may have a big issue in their hands.

I think if they keep expecting people to pay their money to watch they need to prioritise making sure the best Australian players are actually playing , pretty pathetic that you can't go to a game and watch Cummins , Starc & Warner play.

With the ODI League commencing in May & more and more T20I they ideally need to make January free of International Cricket (yes I would move the Sydney Test) and get the best of the best playing.

Enjoy your beers

Finished 433 with NCN C was enough to lift me from 100th to 93rd. Absolutely stoked with that. However probably even more proud of my 8th in the SCS group. Probably the first genuinely good result in a fantasy comp I have had whilst being part of this great site.

Special thanks to the great man @THCLT who offered me some fantastic advice when my season was heading south after round 6 and the toys were squarely out of the cot. However I can’t ignore that I had a healthy dose of good fortune during that time which saw me improve from 2433 after round 6 to this pleasing result. I may post more details on this because it is a salient lesson for all those frustrated BBL SCers out there.

I was ready to do the same after round 2 when I was ranked at 11,595, season was shot then but kept plugging away to get to 589. Next year, next year.

118th in the end for me.

I didn't have that one really good week to get myself well inside the top 100 and pretty much every punt i took trying to get myself back in failed. Best rank for me though so can't complain there.

Quick shoutout to @THCLT @Tails @Herbie66 @Professor @7/11 and everyone else who contributed to putting SCS on the BBL fantasy map. I think we got close to 20k posts and over 400k views so it was a great effort by all.
