Tiges have had very few fantasy relevant (non-rookie) players over the last few years and I can't see him being one of them.

Just reading a article on afl.com.au about Best 22's (early days obviously) but only Hill & Young appear.

Seeing Starcevich , Williamson , Brander , McLennan , Gould , Rivers etc in a lot of teams so hopefully they and others eg Cottrell appear

Might need to slot in Doedee & Roberton as a contingency plan.

This is why first game of the season should be Friday and not Thursday. Lots of work to be done between teams dropping and first game. Come on Gil!

I guess really you only have to lock in your ruck structure + Carlton & Richmond players for Thursday night.

Hope Pickett is named , monitor Williamson , Cottrell & Philp.

Ideally if Gil was concerned about SC , Round 1 would just be played on the Saturday and all 22's would be announced Thursday.

He's a pretty handy player, at 22 I wouldn't be worried about the 5 years. Still yet to see his best and whether that transforms into good SC scores who knows but I'd be okay with it as a crows supporter.

I've put Zac Williams into my team over Laird.. is he too expensive? He's in half as many teams as Laird which is some of the appeal, but he's far from a POD.
