Hi @Connoisseur,

I and many others no doubt appreciate your contribution to threads across the site with the data you're able to provide. If you find the time, could you please look at Brodie Smith for me and possibly include information on contested possessions.

Cheers,

Santoz

Thanks heaps for this. Heard he may have a more profound midfield role this year and was looking at how his contested footy stats relate to his scoring. Cheers.

I wonder how Ebert's return affects the whole Port mid setup including Houston.

Ebert missed the last 5 games , seemed to be playing more forward when he played earlier in the season , but from memory Rockliff played more forward when Ebert was missing , Boak & Gray rotating.

Boak , Wines , Rockliff + SPP , Gray , Houston , Rozee , Ebert etc all running through there

I remember @Rowsus writing a article on the Port mids years ago and the only ones that went over 105+ were Gray & Wingard.

Rocky playing as a mid hey? Tempting... :)
definitely an option if you play AFL Fantasy with 2 trades a week.

Port's midfield rotations might be a lot deeper than people think if they are jumping on Houston.

Ebert affects the whole makeup of the team , but just a observation from watching them every week for the past 4 years or so.

Don't worry, Rocky made my "never again" list last season. Well, at least my "not any time soon" list. I think he may have made that multiple times now...

Good value, until he gets injured.

When Ebert was out last year Boak went full time mid and went nuts. Boak is 31... Ebert is 29 - presumably Boak goes back to half forward and Ebert plays full time mid with Wines and a rotation of SPP/Rockliff and the young guys?

If Ebert plays midfield he could be a pretty good POD as a forward... tempting!

Boak was full time mids from Round 1 last year.

Ebert played as a forward.

Whoops got my wires crossed. It was Wines missing through pre-season and the start that pushed Boak into the mids wasn't it?
