Wasn't good in the challenge last night tho ?.
Was that holding the barrels? I thought he was holding two for a while?

Bit dodgy on the catapult tonight, but Lee has been terrible in 2 out of 3 skills-based roles he’s had, surprisingly. Lachie seemed to get a system and just knocked it out ... Henry seemed to be hopefully trying much the same thing over and over!

Talking about the pushing the box challenge where Mat beat him.

Really not a fan of these 1v1 challenges. A tribal challenge should involve all members of the tribe. I mentioned this last season but these challenges seem to be all brute strength... we need a mixture of strength based challenges and puzzles! We need more puzzles!!!
Personally I don’t mind it, but I think it’s much better if everyone has to rotate through. I think there’s been a lot of physical strength early in a couple of seasons recently, which o agree could be balanced up ... but if it means the fringe players like Michelle get weeded our early, that’s a good result as I see it.

Ah yes. I picked Mat to beat him, but it wasn’t as much of a contest as I expected.

He’s obviously in good shape and pretty good at physical challenges, but he’s not that big a guy. The yoga instructor was a good cover I reckon :p

Oh no! Great episode but a bad outcome.

Wonder if Shonee was a chance not to play her idol if Henry hadn’t tried his ruse.

Henry played too hard too early... but it's good that even he recognised that he did.

Wouldnt really call it a bad outcome. It was pretty obvious to me lol. Unless u meant a bad outcome for the tribe strength wise then yep it was bad.

Bad for the show. It’s much more entertaining with people having a crack, even if it’s probably counterproductive to their own chances.

It's ok, we still have the Golden God and the Godfather to entertain us! I quite like that Shonickarry trio too.

Annoyed to see Henry go, enjoyed watching him, but he played too hard. The snippet of tomorrows challenge looked horrible for his former tribe with them all battling to swim.

No one should be allowed to have a second turn until everyone has played once.

100% agree with this.. if its a team challenge then everyone should get a go regardless of if there is an individual component.

But the other thing I question is what is behind the actual selections by each tribe... why would you put Moana up when she's shown nothing so far in any physical challenge.. makes no sense especially when they were already behind

I wonder if they have everyone compete but somehow edit it to make it a best of 3 kind of thing. It certainly wouldn't be the first time, I recall that JLP publicly said they had to edit some of the footage from the Daisy vs Simon Black sudden death match on exile island where they had to stack those things because it went on for too long.

This is an interesting point. I think it was clear last season that they were a strong risk of having edited too much/in too unrepresentative a manner, so I’d be surprised if they’re risking that again this season.

With that said, it would explain a bit - I would have thought you almost always just play your best available player, possibly versus their expected opponent, and if you get down to the weaker players then so be it - your opponents should be down to their weaker players as well.

I did read recently that some tribal councils can go for over an hour. Personally I have no issue with editing of that type - it’s necessary and creates higher quality content on the episode itself - so long as it’s a faithful edit.

Any reason those coming and going need to be on the same side of the dominoes? Would have thought you’d do the opposite.

Not sure I get Nick’s thinking here. Would have thought you’d take Zach along as a number, he’ll be easy to get rid of later.
